Experimental trio 33.3 formed on the campus of Yale University in the autumn of 1997; comprising cellist/bassist Dominique Davison, guitarist Brian Alfred and drummer Steven Walls, the group issued their debut LP on Aesthetics Records in 1999. Plays Music arrived the following year.
