    Pros: great guitar work

    Cons: none worth noting

    I like this cd because it has excellent tracks like "Beautiful,Loved, and Blessed", and "Lolita" and "Black Sweat". This is not his best album or his worst but there are some good cuts here such as "Satisfied" ...and this cd sounds really good on the road because of the different tempos and styles. Read more Less

    Cons: You might have a good time

    Prince is the master of re-invention. He can put out amazingly musical music and still stand in his own reign. No one in the music industry today can compare to this legend. 3121 kick ass, as always prince brings it to you the way only he can. Album ...is full of funky lovely track about love, and uplifting. Love, black sweat, the word...etc...If you are a true prince fan than you need to check this one! Peace & enjoy Read more Less

    Prince Working Up One Black Sweat!!!

    Pros: An Odyssey Of Funk And A Variety Of Flavors

    '3121' is the real comeback album we've been waiting for for many year.Not to mention his music has significantly improved since he became Prince again but this is the Prince everyone abmired and respected.All twelve songs on this CD are ...excellent,catchy and some of the best he's recorded in years and extremely spirited.The whole thing is based in funk-the title cut is deep and gurgling while "Lolita" the the phenomanal "Fury" and "Black Sweat" just plain set off sparks-all super tempos and boundless energy.He slows it down for the ol' fasioned soul of "Satisfied and the sexy "Incense and Candles" and ends the album off in the best possible way with the bouncy pop of "Beautiful,Loved & Blessed",featuring the likable Tamara,the thrilling funk-jazz fusion of "The Dance" and the JB inspired closer "Get On The Boat",one of Prince's funkiest songs ever!The biggest surprise is "Te Amo Corazon'",a sensual Brazillian melody and one of his very best delicate compositions.And "Love" and "The Word"?Well firey modern dance funk-catchy and not filler.What makes '3121' so great is the songwriting and yes-the more mature outlook on romance.It takes 'Sign O The Times' a step further and none of the songs here break the six minute barriar.I highly recommend it to any Prince fans who stopped at the end of the 80's or any fan of plain old funky music.     Oh My Goodness+++Perfection

    Oh my goodness! How could so much purple funk exist in one CD?! Prince has most certainly done it again in his latest venture 3121 (and I'm not just saying this because I absolutely love the man and his music) There is a little bit for everyone ...on this one here. There's funk, funk and more purple funk. Slow sexy cuts along with slow gospel flavored ones. There's his splash of rock (flavored with funk of course) along with the classic Minneapolis~Prince sound. The lyrics are clean (although some are quite sexy) and some very inspirational (Beautiful loved and blessed being one). This CD is definetely a clear one, meaning you can and will play it from beginning to end. Now, when will the tour start?! LoL Read more Less
