Yes the movie was well named. This is because it felt like i spent 28 days in the theater watching it. The Torture of a bad script and cheesey situations are nothing to the Annoying Banter of Sandra Bullock's Shrill voice and her worse than ever acting. You wont loose sleep from skipping this movie, but you will if you see it
This was a really bad movie, yeah, but it had wonderful features.
This film was nothing more than okay. I saw it because I enjoy Sandra Bullock, and she was actually quite good. Actually, the entire cast was good. But the story was pretty boring and long-winded. At times it was a bit too heavy. What I'm trying to say is... not the worst film out there but also not the best.
Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! thats all I can say this movie was so sorry, there was only one good laugh in it and that is in the very beginning when she is drunk and its funny all the way untill she wrecks the car, then boom its Terrible, if she had been drunk the whole movie, now it might have worked. don't buy this movie
The cast was good. The acting was fair. The storyline had promise. Somehow all of the elements never came together. In the end, I had to wonder...did I really spend $30 buying this?
This movie was terrible. The photography was lame, all of the chcracters were as flat as Sandra Bullock's chest, and the plot had no surprises. If you want realistic rehab, check out New Jack City (Chris Rock as Pookie, the wanna be reformed crack-head) and Permanent Midnight (starring Ben Stiller). Don't waste your time.
I bought this movie and was so disappointed. The first 30 minutes of this movie was very good, funny,(what sandra bullock does best) but after she wrecked the limo, it started going down hill, I got interested again when she started going through withdrawls, but after she fell out of the tree that was it, so boring, i wanted to cry because i had wasted my money. sandra had made plenty of better movies. i will forgive her for this one mistake (lol).
This movie is hilarious and very true-to-life.
The irony of being a drunk in rehab is accurately and
humorously portrayed, and Bullock does an excellent job
playing the sarcastic subject who eventually has to
recognize the severity of her situation and bring herself
under control. As good as she is in this role, Alan
Tudyk steals the show as Gerhardt, the gay German
patient who's emotions are always getting the better of
him. Steve Buscemi is perfect as the
ex-druggie-turned-counsel
or, but should have been in more scenes.
