    Pros: ONE OF HIS BEST CD

    Cons: Missing him dearly

    Chris Ledoux was a Cowboy's cowboy ,All around good ole boy,the Singing cowboy. Born in Mississippi,raised and died in Wyoming,he was a favourite at the Cheyenne Frontier Days.He performed many a times at our dancehall in Gulfport,Mississippi and... in memory of Chris we have dedicated a wall at our rodeo Complex fer all his accomplishments.He was a friend and is missed very much .This cd is his all time best ,every song is worth its weight in Gold. There will never be another Chris Ledoux but this cd is the very essence of him. This is a must have.... Read more Less

    Growing up in rodeo, (my father rode bulls) I can really relate to his songs. But I think even if I knew nothing about it, I would still greatly enjoy his music, it's raw, and real, none of that sissy-boy stuff.

    20 Greatest Hits may not cover Chris LeDoux' entire career, but it does provide a definitive summary of his recordings for Liberty in the '90s. Over the course of the album, all of his big hits, plus a selection of fine album tracks and rarities, are hauled out. It may run a little long for some listeners, but it's nevertheless the ideal LeDoux record for casual fans, since it captures the best from the peak of his popularity.
