this collection includes a lot of early hits from the beatles, but unfortunately not much of their most challenging albums (there's nothing here from the white album) so it's a good comp if u want to know more about their career and if ur not willing to spend ur money on their early efforts, still it's not a good summation of what made them great in the first place

the beatles are the best band ever, and this compilation gives you a nice history of some of their biggest hits. it also lets you see how much they progressed as musicians and songwriters in such a short period of time. but if this is the only beatles album you own, you're missing so many other great songs...revolver, magical mystery tour, abbey road, the beatles (white ablum)...these are all must have albums.

I'm only giving it 3 stars because this compilation centers on the band's pop side. You know, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds (my fav. beatle tune) is not included here. Also some greeeeeeeaaat songs like Here Comes The Sun, A Day In The Life, I Am The Walrus, etc. are missing.
If you like Pop music, you should buy this. I gave it 3 stars because, it's really good material, I mean The Beatles were truly talented. I just took one star because it lacks some great songs, and another star out, because it's not a perfect album or a ''must buy''.

This album is amazing and should be on the top of everyone's Christmas list. If you are a new Beatles fan, get this, it will have all the songs you have just discovered. IF you are an old Beatles fan, you should all ready have all of these songs, but it is nice to have them neatly compiled into one album. If you do not like this album, you are not a true Beatles fan.
