This album is amazing and should be on the top of everyone's Christmas list. If you are a new Beatles fan, get this, it will have all the songs you have just discovered. IF you are an old Beatles fan, you should all ready have all of these songs, b...ut it is nice to have them neatly compiled into one album. If you do not like this album, you are not a true Beatles fan. Read more Less

Tell me what chart did "Something" and "Eleanor
Rigby" hit number one. This is a ripoff and only idiots would believe that they have 27
number ones.

Cons: doesn't dig deep enough

this collection includes a lot of early hits from the beatles, but unfortunately not much of their most challenging albums (there's nothing here from the white album) so it's a good comp if u want to know more about their career and if ur not... willing to spend ur money on their early efforts, still it's not a good summation of what made them great in the first place Read more Less

the beatles are the best band ever, and this compilation gives you a nice history of some of their biggest hits. it also lets you see how much they progressed as musicians and songwriters in such a short period of time. but if this is the only beat...les album you own, you're missing so many other great songs...revolver, magical mystery tour, abbey road, the beatles (white ablum)...these are all must have albums.
