its allways a big mistake to buy compilation albums insted of the original albums , but this is really good

If you want better 60s rock, try Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Iron Butterfly, Deep Purple, or late 60s Led Zeppelin. Now that's pure 60s hard rock. The Beatles are OK. I'm simply not a huge fan but I'd rather listen to their songs on radio than buying their albums.

Don't listen to those anybody who says bad about the Beatles especially paulthebuilder. I like the Beatles but Queen rules too. Perhaps, this album has some good songs like Hey Jude. Magical Mystery Tour, Revolution, Back in the U.S.S.R. and check out other songs on this album which are classics and a masterpiece.

If this was an regular album release it would be the best ever. These are the best Beatles song ever. Forget love me do and all that 67- 70 were the best years for the Beatles. The Beatles were the best group ever. Thus this is the best album of all time.

This is one of the best album i've ever heard. If you are new at listening to the beatles this is the album to listen too. All these songs kick ass.

I'd say this is the best non-beatle put together beatles album ever. I personaly like just john albums but the beatles are the best band.

The only collection of Beatles studio greatist hits songs worth having is this album (together with its counterpart The Red Album). If a newcomer inside The Beatles Magical Music Club wants to buy a greatist hits compilation this is the one. An advice: buy all their original albums (if you can afford the money of course) and better avoid useless compilations aiming only at your wallet.

I realize that you people don't agree with me on this, but I have to say it, anyway: music wouldn't be where it is today if it weren't for these guys. Sure, the early stuff was mostly teenie-pop, but their later work is just brilliant. That's not just my opinion, but the opinion of my friends as well, all of whom have a great and varied taste in music, which most certainly does not include teenie-pop.
Sadly, I haven't the patience to post this reply at every Beatles album, just as paulthebuilder seems to have done in his desperate attempt to deny one of the foremost musical achievements of the generation of 68. Sure, it's dated. People will be saying that about 90s music, too, in a few decades. Most of our music won't hold up as well as The Beatles, is a bet I'm willing to take.Was this review helpful? going through this album is a wonderful beatle experience for those of u who are new beatles listeners
after 67 the beatles became more mature and experimental musically and as human beings
it's wonderful just listening to songs like hey jude, revolution, let it be, get back, all you need is love, penny lane, strawberry fields forever, lady madonna, across the universe, ballad of john and yoko, while my guitar gently weeps, come together......etc...
after listening to this stream of songs you will wonder if there could only be another band like the beatles or close to them
of course the answer is NO
so enjoy the beatles as much as you can
