    Why is it that the best country music these days comes from artists who are not classified as country? Evidence: That song by Sting, "I'm So Happy" and this album by Ween, for sure.

    This album, without a doubt, proves that Ween is one of the most talented bands of our generation. And they have the respect of the people who matter, other musicians. Many of the musicians who back up Ween for this 1996 release, have backed up Wil...lie Nelson, Bob Dylan, and Elvis. Its hard to pick a favorite album by Gener and Deaner, but this one would definetly have to be in the running. So go out, get it, listen, you can thank me later. Read more Less

    This entire album is a mind-blow. From I'm Holding You, to You Were The Fool, every song is skillfully and delicately crafted, in a genre that I previously had little respect for.

    It's pretty cool when a couple of stoney dudes can make a balls out country album. Makes me want to drink whiskey and run around my house wearing boots and nothing else.Highlights for me are, "Mister Richard Smoker", "Japanese Cowboy", "You were the... fool", and of course, "Fluffy".     Pretty Damn Good

    Being only a minor fan of country, but a huge fan of post-Guava Ween, this album blew me away with Ween's musical talent. Their genre-shifting ability truly comes alive when you realize this very good Country album comes from a hardcore rock band.
