New Found Glory

It took me a long time to connect that I liked Oasis. I have been hearing their songs on the radio for close to a decade now and always knew I enjoyed listening to their songs. I finally put it together that the artist for three of my favorite songs was them. I've been singing along with them on the radio for years. "Wonderwall", "Don't Look Back in Anger", and "Champagne Supernova". It hit me just the other week that if I can sing all the lyrics to each one by heart and be moved by their music I might want to purchase their CD. I am so happy I did! I've been playing it almost non stop since I got it in the mail Saturday. I'm so glad I finally realized my love for this band. I think their resemblance to the Beatles is a good thing. They are their own band as well but how can someone say sounding like the Beatles is a bad thing?

Pros: Whats Wrong With It? The music the lyrics everything is amazing Noel Gallagher must have been on a high writing this album.
Cons: I Cant Say there are any even the Swamp Song is brilliant there isnt a dull moment throughout the whole album.
I bought this CD in 2002 and as I normally do I only listen to the songs that I know at first. These songs were Roll With It, Dont Look Back in Anger, Morning Glory and of course Wonderwall. About two days later I finally listened to the whole album it blew me away I couldnt get over how fantastic it was. Starting off with two fast rock songs Hello and Roll With It and then to go to two slow songs 'Wonderwall' and 'Don't Look Back In Anger' it was amazing. Then to hear something like Cast No Shadow Liams voice shines in this song. The lyrics in this song are overwhelming Bound with all the weight of all the words he tried to say, chained to all the places that he never wished to stay Noel Gallagher is a legend!!! And then the Rock anthem of the album Morning Glory is truly one of the finest moments on the album. I then finally heard Champagne Supernova I didnt know what I was in for it started off like this slow beautiful soft song

cool album. sounds a little bit too much like the beatles. that's why i prefer their first album even if the production was weak. anywaay, give it a try.

I am a 15-year-old high school student. Until recently i was totally obsessed with bands like N SYNC. Then my LaunchCast Player played an Oasis song. I was in love. I bought the CD and it's soooooo good. Of all the Oasis CDs, this is the best!!!! A must have if you like Beatles, U2, well put together songs!!!!

This is a good album, but they never progressed after Morning Glory. If you're going to pick up an Oasis album, this is the one to get.

A lot of the reviewers on yahoo are extremely negative when it comes to writing reviews and this album was never a one-star even if you don't like them!
It was possibly the most commercial friendly album of the 1990's - songs such as 'Don't look back...' and 'Wonderwall' still receive much airplay in Britain - even on trendy dance stations - 7 years on, now that's an achievement!!!!
Not as good as Definitely Maybe but it certainly was a bold follow up! It is Oasis' biggest selling album to date.
Every track is a gem, I love Some Might Say and Cast No Shadow among others. Buy this album and be blown away!

If Nirvana's Nevermind rock one half of the world, this album rock the other half into rock frenzy. This album must be one of the most spectacular album that ever came out of Britian. Alongside Radiohead's OK Computer and Blur's self-titled album, this is Britpop at it's finest. Must have for all music critics.

Without question, a classic. At the time of this, if you hadn't heard this album at the school I went to, you were nothing. Every song on this could have been a single and their is no bad song on this. Champagne Supernova became a big hit with me and my friends at high school at the time and the line "Where were you while we were getting high" was sprayed under the subway near the school.

An essential buy: this is one of the best albums ever!! You won't listent a bad song! This album has the best that Oasis have ever created! My favourite songs are Champagne Supernova, Hello and Don't Look Back In Anger!!

While the previous album was one to hop in concerts this is an album to sit and listen to. However, you will be encouraged by some songsd to jump out of the aimchair and hop!!!

First of all, let me start by saying oasis is the best ever after only the beatles. They reivented rock in the 90's and Noel Gallagher is the best songwriter of the generation. This cd is a must have, personnaly my favorite tracks are dont look back in anger and wonderwall.

Almost as good as Definitely maybe. The standout tracks are wonderwall, champagne supernova and don't look back in anger which is arguably the best Noel sung song. Only the beatles' sgt peppers album has sold more copies in the uk than this. This album and most of the songs will never be forgotten and I am sure that they will be covered by other artists in the future. Be here now and standing on the shoulders of giants failed to match up to this album so this is ranked as the 2nd best Oasis album and one of the best of the 90s.
