    DONT LAUGH at this funny man's music!

    This is a FANTASTIC (very mellow) all instrumental Christmas CD that you WILL listen to all year around for a year or 2 if you never heard it before. VERY NICE music that goes well with fine dining for the season and beyond. To impress a date over ca...ndlelight, "he/she will notice and ask for sure" and not too bad with just a pack of cigarettes and a 12 pack of beer after work days in winter to mellow out. What Jackie Gleason (band) does so well is take Christmas songs and give them a different, some time strange twist instead of just doing the norm. He can take a song like "Jingle Bells" and make it sound like the funeral song for a loved one but yet the Christmas spirit is present in every song. This and ALL Jackie Gleason is SEVERLY UNDERRATED! First listen may not impress but give it a spin at Christmas during your wonderful dinners and see what goes better with dinner than this music! I recomend ALL "Gleason" for Christmas, Also "Henry Mancini" and another that you will love is "Living Strings". Read more Less
