On 11/23/09, I ordered an Asus laptop, which the Agear site said was in stock. I opted to wire AGear the funds in order to receive the 3% discount. I called on the 23rd and spoke to Frank about how to place the order when I was paying by wire transfer. I told him what I was ordering and he did not mention they were out of stock. The next morning, my bank wired the funds to their bank. ($20 fee) Today (11/30/09), after hearing nothing about the status of my order, I called and spoke to Frank. ...

I bought an Asus laptop and have been VERY happy with my purchase. First off, the computer runs great and I love everything about it from its looks to its specs. One of the main reasons I chose AGear over other retailers was that you allowed customization of some of the specs. The main thing I wanted was an upgrade from the 32-bit version of Vista to the 64-bit and an extended warranty. Purchased a asus 1008ha with 2gb upgrade. Sent an email inquiry about turnaround time and someone actually called me! Great customer service! Netbook is great! Shipping charges seemed a bit high but everything else was outstanding!

This was my second purchase from agearnotebooks. My first one went smoothly and I had no complains, this time I had to give few ratings below 4. I had no problems with ordering,payment and dealing with customer support in regards to my order till the actual shipping and delivery. I opted for 2 day air shipping to Puerto Rico and paid for it. Item was shipped via first class,registered, priority mail by USPS. It should have arrived within few days, but I actually got the package a month later. ...

Ordering and such was a breeze, but firstly they wouldn't ship to an alternate address from my billing address, which is very inconvenient seeing as I had to take off a day from work to receive the LT. They also wouldn't give me the tracking number so I could make my own arrangements with UPS. Other than that, everything was OK.

I wasn\\'t sent a confirmation email when my computer was shipped, but that was rectified and they even called on the day of delivery to make sure that I had received my package. That was good customer serivce. They were also the only company that is listed on ASUS\\'s website that upgrades the Eee PC netbooks and the price was not far off from their competitors. I would highly recommend them and I definitely would buy from them again.
