    Good Tires, Good Service, Price and selection

    Sears still seems to be the best overall place to get tires. I just bought 4 Cooper Response Touring tires for $71 each and was happy. For the price they came closer to anything else as far as meeting all my needs. Sears always seems to have a far be...tter selection of better tires to choose from and usually their prices atr better than Sam's Club or Walmart. I came close to opting for the Goodrich Advantage since they were on sale, but after considering the age of the car decided the Cooper with such high ratings and at about $25 cheaper per tire was a better fit. Their selection of Michelins are always better than anywhere else and are almost always priced lower. I was also tempted to buy the new Michelin Defender because the price was so much lower than other places but in the end just didn't want to spend that much. I should add that at Sears you are in and out quickly and you can pretty well count on the mechanics knowing what they are doing. Neither of those are true of Walmart which is usually more expensive and will hold you hostage in their store for hours figuring you will get board and start spending more money there while you wait and wait and wait some more.     Blame the customer!

    I bought a Craftsman 21" lawn mower online from Sears in March. It wasn't until April 24, when it got warm enough, that I could use it. I filled it with gasoline and checked the oil. There appeared to be oil on the dipstick so I started mowing. Then ...it stopped. After calling 1-800-4-MY-HOME, I took the mower to the Sears Merle Hay, DSM, IA location. There a nice man helped me unload the mower. He then asked if I added oil before starting. I said there was oil in it. He asked if I read the unpacking instructions. I had no idea what he was talking about. Abuse, he said, voids warranty. Yesterday I bought an MTD mower, the company that manufactures Craftsman, at Menards. And on the dipstick was a bright yellow tag that stated in bold black letters: Stop! Add Oil. Nothing like that was on the Craftsman mower from Sears. Why not? I've emailed and commented on Sears Facebook site. Sears Facebook moderators have lied and said they've tried to contact me. My emails have never been answered. Read more Less

    Sears HE WASHING MACHINE

    Sears has the worst customer service i have ever experienced,in store and call center.My 3 year old kenmore elite oasis washer $1500.00 started making a banging noise and spilling water and oil on the floor. I was 3 days outside my 3 yr extended warr...anty they refused to help me. They said it would be a service fee then when repair man came informed me it would cost $1700.00 to fix it. They were the most rude, unhelpful people i have ever dealt with I am a long time customer of sears they could go back on my records and look from the 80's to present, I also have several rental homes I bought all appliances from sears...Those days are over. I recently got a new lg wm3470hwa from best buy all smiles and i will take my buisness to best buy from now on. If you are thinking of purchasing an appliance DO NOT USE SEARS!!!Save yourself a lot of phone calls and headaches that get u no where Read more Less

    My experiences ordering from and dealing with Sears.com are all negative. Comparing Sears to sites such as Amazon, Costco, Target, Staples, and Sam's Club is like comparing the transportation value of a dead horse to a new Lexus. Sears must have the ...absolute worst customer service in the world, and ordering from any of their online partners is begging for trouble.     Like stinky water?

    My old waterheater started leaking that I had purchased a lifetime warranty on so called Sears to get it replaced. they would not honor the warranty and delivered a waterheater on Feb 2nd, 2012. The hot water stinks so bad they delivered the 2nd one ...and it still stinks. I have talked to just about everyone-even in the head office and complaint office. Just get reconnected to one department to another. They have told me there is nothing they can do. I will never purchase anything from them again as long as they will not fix and complete this project so I don't have stinky hot water. The cold water is fine so I know it is not my water.     Where is my mattress?

    We paid for mattress online, waited for 1 week, 1 month, 2 month... They took money, but did not deliver the mattress. Customer Service are people with a bad accent and they did not help us. Every week Customer Service told us that it will be deliver...ed in next 3 days. Finally, we were notified that the delivery contractor attempted to deliver the item, BUT DID NOT FIND OUR ADDRESS!!! Then they said that we were out home when the mattress was delivered (while was all time home). It looks like a 100% lie. Money was returned back only 3 months later after deal cancellation. I cannot recommended Sears nor its delivery contractor (2011) :(( . Read more Less

    SEARS ONLINE SUCKS BIGTIME!!!!

    This is my first time to order on Sears Online. First, their website is slow and unreliable. When I finished typing all my billing information, I received an error that my nickname temp_4 is already in use. There is not even a field for a nickname! S...o I phoned in to customer service and I was told I can order on the phone. Person on the phone is inexperienced and lack courteousness and listening skills. He did not give or disclose important information but rather tried to sell me items after each sentences. He did not tell me about the no shipping charges promo on the web of which I qualified. He did not give a confirmation number nor an order number. He also did not let me know how I will get the order copy and confirmation number. So I phoned again to ask for the confirmation email and I was told by the next person that I cannot receive a confirmation email and that I need to email home@sears.ca. After this, I went back online to check how I can get a document of my order and noticed that there was a promo on free shipping charges. So I phoned again and a lady answered this time. She was much better than the prior call centre folks I spoke with. I think SEARS will continue to lose business if they don't get their act together. They need to set a higher quality of standards and ensure that their staff are trained in answering calls and that they have the ability to resolve issues. Read more Less

    WILL NEVER ORDER FROM SEARS AGAIN

    I will NEVER buy from SEARS AGAIN! I placed an order online on 3/31. Online said that the item was in stock and that I should receive the item by the 2nd of April. As of today order still says processing. I called customer service to see where my ite...m is. They told me they sent a request to another department and that i should receive an EMAIL with in 5-7 business days about my order. 5-7 Business days are you kidding me? I tell them I want to cancel my order. They tell me No I can't cancel my order but I can take it back to the store with-in 90 Days of the date of purchase and return it or deny the package on arrival. So by the time I get an email to where my item is that I don't even want any more because I needed it last weekend and didn't have it, it will be over two weeks that they have taken the money from my savings account threw my paypal and I still have no item!!!! VERY un happy customer. It will be the LAST TIME I EVER BUY FROM SEARS AGAIN AND I WILL BE TELLING EVERYONE ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE. Read more Less
