    Had gift certificates for UK arm of this company, website closed and refers to parent company, but that would not accept the gift voucher codes. Having written to theier customer service team and recd promises of action and nothing I have given up an...d put it down to a bad experience with an American company and will definitely not do business with any American Companies.     You can't trust anything they say. Says will bill you when the items ship, they bill straight way. "In Processing" for a week, cannot get though on phone and emails are not replied to. Customer is bent over a barrel. It's 6 days and I don't know what... to do, no indication that order is being processed at all. Read more Less

    Lesson Learned - Terrible Customer Service

    When I ordered, received confirmation stating my order would ship in 3-5 days, 7 business days later my order is still showing processing, so I called customer service. I was told my shoes were shipping to a PO Box so they would take an extra 10 days.... I stated no my confirmation shows a street address, then customer services proceeded to get ruder and tell me I didn't know what I was talking about and he knew he was right! I then ask to just have my ordered cancelled, but was told since it is being processed I couldn't cancel and I would just have to return them. Finally more than 2 weeks after ordering them, I get a message my order has shipped, 10 min. later I have a message saying my ordered has been cancelled... Customer Service couldn't tell me if they did indeed ship or not!!! Good Luck if you so choose to purchase with Shoebuy.com!!! Read more Less

    Shoebuy is horrible. They sent me an adult size of a shoe, when I ordered child sizing. I emailed them. After two weeks, I didn't hear from them, so I called them. The customer service rep was very rude. at me and told me I don't know how to order. I... couldn't believe it. They are rude and I'd rather pay more than order from them again.     I ordered a pair of shoes and have never received these shoes. Every time I check the status, it says "In Process." I emailed the company and received no response. I also called and was waiting for 35 minutes until I was just cut off. I have never de...alt with such an awful online experience. I would not recommend ordering from them online unless you never want to receive your items or receive them weeks and months after you are told you will. Read more Less

    I purchased a Fedora hat through this company and their Amazon storefront. The hat's a pretty nice hat, and fairly expensive as far as hats go, in my opinion, but I'd purchased it as a gift for my husband since he'd been wanting one for awhile.The ha...t, though, was too small. However, since I'd actually been thinking ahead (for once), I'd purchased the hat with plenty of time to wrap it for his birthday and by the time his birthday came, he opened it and tried it on, etc., we had exceeded the company's 60 day return policy by about 30 days.Figuring since I didn't really want to return it, I just wanted to exchange it for the next size up, I contacted them through Amazon. They finally responded after about a week, telling me sorry, they can't help me since their policy dictates that there is a 60 day return policy, but they strive to make their customers happy and they hope I am and will shop with them again.What the...? Ok, they must have misunderstood that telling me no to an exchange certainly will not make me happy. So I reply and tell them that since it was obviously my bad that I was outside of the return policy, I'd gladly pay for return shipping both ways (me returning it to them; them shipping the next size hat to me). Seems fair and reasonable, doesn't it? Two weeks go by with no response. I send another email; another week goes by. I finally sent a third email threatening to report them to the BBB...that one got a very prompt response, but they were still not willing to work with me.Bottom line is that this company has very poor customer service if they're not willing to work with a customer who doesn't even want her money back. They claim they can't help me because they have to maintain their integrity and I'm no longer in the 60 day return window stated in their policy. It's my opinion, though, that they'd do much better to bend the rules and make one customer happy, than to "maintain their integrity" by being rigid. After all, people who have poor experiences are much more inclined to leave bad reviews (this one case in point) than people who have no problems whatsoever. Going out of one's way to make a customer happy can only benefit the company. Read more Less

    Don't use shoebuy! Customer service is awful. I purchased a pair of running shoes which turned out a half size too small. When I returned them they said they had been worn and could't accept the return. How else do you try running shoes excpet to wea...r them. I wore them once...returned them per their "free return Polic" and they sent them back. NEVER AGAIN Read more Less

    Dishonest Seller, If You Use A Coupon

    I had a 25% Off coupon, checked availability of the shoes I wanted (yes, they were in stock), and placed my order. Low and behold, about a week later, they send me an e-mail message that the shoes are not in stock. Here's what I think happened, but t...he company will not even give me the courtest of a reply: I ordered with a coupon, someone else ordered the same shoe without a coupon after I already placed my order (since the shoes showed they were in stock), and they decided to make the extra money by not selling to me at a discount.     I ordered a pair of shoes because a. they had the exact shoes I wanted (amazon and zappos did not have my size), b. I got 25% off, c. they offered free shipping both ways. I placed the order on a Thursday, got a tracking # on Friday and lo and behold..., the package was just scanned for departure a full WEEK later, Thursday AM. Now, what has the package been doing for a week? This is not acceptable as I am moving this Saturday. I had called SHOEBUY on Monday and they assured me that the package had indeed been mailed on Friday. UPS also stated on Tuesday that the package would arrive Friday. But today when I saw the updated tracking information, I called SHOEBUY and they claim it is still on time, nevermind all the incorrect information I was given before. They blamed it on the holiday weekend. Good thing for the free return shipping, as these are definitely going back...just ordered a slightly different pair from Zappos like I should have done form the beginning. What a waste of my time.
