    Should have heeded warnings about this company!

    I placed an order for over $310 including a red leather bag that was priced very well and I had tracked for a while. The other items arrived as expected but the bag never arrived. The company never notified me that anything was wrong. I email custome...r service today only to be told that the item "is no longer available" - mind you it was avaiable at the time since the purchase was confirmed and I received an estimated shipping date. They made no attempt to contact me to let me know or to correct the situation - they simply told me to pick another color AT A HIGHER PRICE!!!     I purchased a NIcole Miller suitcase for my daughter for Christmas. She recently used it for the first time and discovered that the zipper on the front pocket was detached. When she called e-bags, they said it was "NOT THEIR PROBLEM!" Apparently, she... had to use the bag and discover the defect within 60 days of when I bought it as a gift (early so she'd have it for Christmas!). It's not like it's a back pack she'd used every day...it's a suitcase! Who uses a suitcase every week? I'm so done with e-bags. Such a rip-off!!! Read more Less

    The item would have been great if that was what I ordered. I received the wrong print. When I contacted ebags with the mistake, they assured me that they were in stock and would get the correct item to me. I was asked to wait at least 24 hours for my... "account to go through processing". I waited 36 hours, then contacted ebags to switch for the correct purse. I was then told that they were out of stock on the purse that I wanted.!!?? I sent a very unhappy email back to customer service. I was told "sorry for the inconvenience and please return the bag in question. Here's a 20% discount" for the next time I shop ebags. That coupon will not be redeemed. I kept the bag. I'll give it to another daughter on another gift occasion. Read more Less

    Worst Online Shopping Experience Ever

    As an avid online shopper, I have to say, purchasing from this company is one of the WORST experiences I have ever had. I was extremely excited to receive my order (a new suitcase, as the airline ruined mine the last time I flew) and a matching tote.... The price was excellent, and shipping was relatively fast. Much to my dismay, when I received my order, the tote was missing. I called eBags customer service immediately and was told that it may have been shipped in a separate box. I was told I would receive a call or email within 24-48 hours. After 4 days, I called again, and was told that they would contact the warehouse to see what was going on. Again, I was told I would hear back in 24-48 hours. After a few more days, I called AGAIN, and was told the warehouse was not available for contact on the weekends, and I would hear back Monday or Tuesday. By Wednesday, I had yet to receive a call or an email in response to my inquiries. I called a fourth time to demand a refund. I understand that these things happen- items are missed during packaging, shipments get delayed, etc., but I do not appreciate a slew of empty promises by customer service reps.     I have contacted ebags about the coupons and not combining. I bought an identical bag at bag buy for 35.00 less. Bagbuy allows you to use big percentage off coupons, plus free shipping, plus repeat customers get an additional 10 percent off at chec...kout. Uh, it is a no brainer. Ebags did not seem interested in trying to match so they can go FLY A KITE. The last time I will ever shop there. Bagbuy and shoebuy has my business from now on. I guarantee you can find most of the same bags a lot cheaper. Better the money in your pocket than in theirs. Read more Less

    I used the My Coke Rewards program to get 5 ($10) gift codes for ebags.com. Before doing so, I checked to make sure I could use them all for a purchase of a handbag I was looking at on ebags.com. Since the ebags.com checkout page did not state anythi...ng about only using one gift code per transaction, I figured I was OK. Well, when I went to redeem the codes from My Coke Rewards, the website would only let me use one gift code. Ebags customer service, including the supervisor, would not accept the codes or exchange my gift codes for a $50 gift code because the codes were not purchased from the ebags.com website. The customer service representative was completely unwilling to help me out, and just kept repeating the same thing. I will never do business with them in the future. Read more Less

    The bags are great, but the "shipping stinks". It takes "At Least" 5 business days to leave the warehouse. When you call, they tell you it already shipped because they have a tracking number, but it is actually still in the warehouse. Just call th...e shipping company and they will tell you that they only got the billing info, not the package. It's been a week and I'm still waiting for it to leave the warehouse. I won't be ordering from ebags ever again. Read more Less

    Bad, bad, bad, I ordered a backpack with free shipping and checked out through paypal. After a week I was tolded that the backpack was unavailable. Why would it take a week to inform someone that it is unavailable? So we ordered a different one with... a 25 % additional discount coupon they offered us. Delivery took a week. We were still being charged on our paypal account for the first bag and thier customer service department told us that if you pay with credit card they don't take the money out of your account until they ship the bag but since it was paypal they took the money out of our account before they shipped and that this problem was between us and paypal. So now we have to go through the claim process with paypal. Will never buy anything from this store again. Read more Less
