Sent a defective unit back, never heard back from them. Call their customer service and get put on death hold. This company shouldn't be allowed to be in business!
I should have read these review before buying from them. I ordered about $400 worth of stuff and like others back ordered stuff. shipped two items from one of their other warehouses (why not send everything from one where house) received the two item...s from the other location but have not yet received the other items for California yet, it has been a week so far. I order a lot of items from ebay that get shipped from cali and receive the items within three day and that's with free shipping too. I would rather pay triple the price than deal with this company. Ordered a sound processor in November, arrived DOA, had a professional shop installed, did not work so I called them to have them ship me a new one, they said old one would have to be shipped back and sent for warranty repair. I explained to them it ...was brand new and I should not have to use warranty, just like if u ordered a tv from bestbuy if it did not work they would send u a new one not send it for repair. They than said it was hooked up so now it's used! I said I have to get it hooked up to see if it works there's no other way to tell. I than offered for them to charge my card for a new one and I would ship the old one back and I expected a refund as soon as they got the defective one as all the speaker wire runs to the heart of this piece and I needed it ASAP. they refused so I sent it back called my cc to dispute the charge which they took care of. I ordered it for a bit more expensive on Amazon and had no issue. I just received an email today stating they were not able to repair or replace it and I have a credit to use towards something else within 6 months, mind u this took the, 4 months later. It happened to me just like tons of other people. They confirmed the order, charged my credit card, and then informed me they were out of stock on what I ordered and suggested something "simular". Dishonest company, buyer beware!!!
ordered $1600 worth of equipment and after 9 days of no calls or emails or product, i spent 4 days calling and emailing and got nothing but excuses and lies. Finally canceled my order and bought elsewhere. Save your time and sanity- don't even bother... to try to order from them. They advertise great prices but you will never get your order. Ordered and they sent lesser product - never advised. Had to call and confront them about wrong product and giving me credit on the difference. We'll see. Wish I had these reviews beforehand. I suggest others shop elsewhere.
Horrible communication. Don’t even try to call them! Backordered items are not listed on the site which caused confusion and a double order. I left numerous emails and voicemails asking to cancel the part of my order that was backordered but never ...got a call/email back. I caught it (both of them) as soon as i got the processing email before it shipped, but i couldn’t get ahold of them to cancel it. Once the package arrived i rejected it and it was sent back. They caught the second one while it was in transit. What resulted was paying restocking fees that were ridiculous. I’m sure if your order is simple and doesn’t contain backordered items your experience would be fine. I just don’t understand why they don’t mark the items that are backordered. It would be nice if they answered their phones and emails too. I called every number I could find and never talked to someone in person, despite all of the voicemails. I couldn’t get an email back either until I sent a long email explaining the problems and forwarded it to every email address I could find. That finally woke them up! I really hope no body has the same trouble as me because it was an outrageous headache during a busy month for me. This was my first bad experience with online shopping, and I will continue to, but never again from online car stereo. With all this being said, the prices are quite good, although I would recommend ordering from sonicelectronix.com instead as they have almost the same inventory at the same prices and they list the items that are backordered! OCS is a rip off. Terrible service, terrible attidues. These guys are a joke. Check out all the negative reviews. Wish I did before I dealt with them.
Ordered a "new" Alpine Amp. They shipped a used amp and it doesn't work. Their returns is a joke. Not taking responsibility for anything. Their phone rep told me she was trained to avoid allowing returns, and if people insisted then to funnel them in...to an e-mail "customer service" inbox.....which they don't pay much attention to.
