I ordered a beautiful bouquet of flowers to be delivered to a business associate. These should have been delivered the next day. By 5pm I still was unable to get confirmation of delivery. Finally the person posted a picture on facebook and I was disg...usted to discover the flowers I spent $68 looked like a cheap $10 bouquet from the grocery store. They were supposed to be lavender roses with big full lavender accent flowers in a lavender cut glass vase. Instead, they were pink roses with a bunch of filler greenery and a couple carnations in a clear glass vase. Customer service was rude and unwilling to help me. I have been purchasing flowers and gifts from FTD for a little over a year now and signed up for the gold membership program this past spring. My experiences with FTD.com had been pleasant until Friday. Last Christmas I sent my parents a wreath from ...FTD which the really enjoyed. I found a wreath on FTD this year that I thought my parents would like and decided to take advantage of the Black Friday sale. I placed my order on Black Friday and the total came to $56. After I placed the order the confirmation page also listed my total as $56 and informed me I would also receive a confirmation e-mail. The e-mail arrived several hours later and when I looked at the total I was being charged it showed $69.99. I figured there must be some some mistake. I contacted FTD customer service via e-mail and explained the issue in detail. I received a response from them almost 2 days later saying The would refund my credit card $10. I responded to the e-mail stating that the price increase was more than $10, it was $13.99 and included both the original confirmation page showing a total of $56 as well as the e-mail which showed the total at $69.99. I cancelled my order for the wreath because FTD was not willing to honor the price I purchased the wreath at. In light of this experience I will no longer be conducting business with FTD. If you are thinking of getting flowers through FTD “DON’T DO IT” I really wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. They sent half dead flowers and when you contact them they tell you it will be taken care of but you never hear from them ag...ain and they blow off any other attempt to contact them. The 7 day satisfaction guarantee does not even last one minute after the delivery of the flowers. They are a bunch of liars and have the most pathetic business practice I have ever dealt with. DO NOT BUY FROM FTD!!!!!! I could have went dumpster diving behind any REAL florist and made a better display than what was delivered to my wife. Read more Less

I ordered flowers for same day delivery at midnight that day. I realized after I ordered that I didn't apply my gift card so I went to the customer service email page. They offer same day delivery yet on their customer service page they don't let you... put in that day as your delivery date. You have to choose a delivery date and put in your order number so I figured they would see on my order that it was same day, that I obviously couldn't choose that, and that I wasn't asking for a change of date anyway just to apply a gift card. They applied the gift card but by the end of the day I had not received the flowers. I called customer service and after waiting and a confusing explanation I was told that they changed the delivery date because of my email. I realized what happened, explained to them that it's a fault with their website and clearly the common sense of their customer service reps yet they continued to blame me. I did not get the flowers that day and was told that the best they could do is apologize and send them out the next day. I still had to pay full price though for flowers the day after. Well I didn't want them the day after since the whole point was to surprise the person THAT DAY. I asked them to cancel the order and then I had to wait several days for the refund to post. What a mess. The flowers and the delivery are VERY expensive and yet this is the best they can do. Their customer service is awful. I ordered flowers for my mother's birthday after calling in at 8 am(on hold for 12 minutes) to make sure they would be delivered by 5 pm to her work. I put in an order and made the overpriced delivery charge and was then called at 3:15 stating the ad...dress wasn't correct(funny because I have been to the office multiple times). I then called at 5:10 to confirm this delivery and was on hold for 20 minutes when they tried to call the florist and couldn't confirm. I called again at 6:30 to confirm and was on hold for another 25 minutes and they still couldn't confirm. Turns out the flowers were never delivered. Then they cannot call me in the morning to explain this to me, I need to call and wait for another 18 minutes to be told sorry they weren't delivered and we will refund you the money. How does refunding the money get flowers to my mother on her birthday? Doesn't make sense to me and this is absolutely the worst customer service and non existent service I have ever seen. ftd actually only gives the florist half of the money they charge you on their website - so if you don't like what you get - that could be why - also don't expect any customer service - they suck at it.
