    Ties Look Good But I Would Not Know

    I needed a tie for a very special event and I found a perfect one at Boardroom Ties. As their facebook site boasts they pride themselves on the best delivery online. They talk about this instant everything world. Well that is what I wanted. I wanted ...next day delivery of a tie did not seem like a big deal. I sent six emails to them the first one was answered promptly, explaining the cost of next day shipping. I said OK ship the tie and I stopped looking beciase I thought I would have my tie tomorrow. BIG MISTAKE! I never heard anything from them so I sent another e-mail and then another then another asking for someone to call me. I got another e-mail back not a phone call. FYI You can't call them they don't have a phone the only number I could find was disconnected. Finally I got a response the same response I got earlier how much it would be to have it shipped overnight and this time I was told who would be willing to pay the overnite cost for a tie. My response is I would. I then received another reponse that all my e-mails went to their junk e-mail box because I choose the "high priority" e-mail option, since High Priority E-mails are spam? Yes a lot of High Priority E-Mails are spam but some are real. It is called customer service. Seems like it might be a great company if you work within their paramaters and you are not in a hurry. If you are in a hurry I would be leary of this business. All is wanted was a tie when I needed it and was willing to pay for it. Again to use their words in an instant everything world that is all I wanted was my tie in an instant! Read more Less

    I had an exchange with customer service after a late delivery through US Postal Service and was pleased with their response. In the followup they communicated with me not to buy until the product lineup had been updated and then they sent me a note t...hat the update was complete. Guess what? I responded and bought three more beautiful ties made in USA. Great customer service! Read more Less
