    Purchase a Bertling fly B from this firm - a good price and receive when promised but after 40 days the watch hand would not move anymore. I contacted customer service and they advised that the I was responsible for all shipping charges no good will.... It took 8 weeks for a repair on brand new watch, then when I got back I was charge duties charge b/c repair was not noted on the slip. A gusture they offered an extend warranty at a price that was $100 higher then when they first offered when I first purchased the watch. At least at a store/dealer I would not have gone through this poor experience. Read more Less

    Don't ever buy from this company.. I placed an order and decided to cancel it after 20 minutes, called them to cancel. But their customer lied about the watch was only in processing and they need to charge the stocking fee, what a joke! They don't kn...ow how to take care the customers first and just try to rip your money. Read more Less

    I guess if you are lucky enough to receive a watch that works and your experience with Authentic Watches ends there, you would be happy with your service. It seems that most of the problems lie with shoddy merchandise that this dodgy seller does not ...stand behind. I ordered a Cartier Tank Francaise, it retails for $4700 and their price was $3755. It was shipped on Friday and I received it Saturday night. I set the correct time and removed their "not returnable if removed" tag. I did not intend to return it. I had to wait to have it sized as it was far too big so I couldn't wear it, but I noticed that it didn't seem to be keeping time. Sunday morning it was several hours off, and after resetting the time again and again, this kept happening. Monday I called Authentic Watches. I was told that they could repair it but refused to pay for shipping because I was in Canada. After paying so much money for this watch, I was furious at this - they sell me something that does not work out of the box and then inconvenience me AND expect me to pay for shipping? Ridiculous. I was then told that it left their warehouse in perfect working order and they did not know what I had done with the watch. This insinuation is incredible - that I would immediately break a $4k watch just for the pleasure of dealing with their awful customer service? After this I decided they were completely shady and did not want to keep the watch from them - I have no trust in them or their merchandise. I told them I wanted a refund. Not possible, as their tag had been removed so it is considered a used watch. So that's their moral line - they are fine with shipping a watch that does not work but will not accept a return because their two cent tag is removed in good faith, in the expectation that the watch would work as it is supposed to. I told them I did not want a repair on an obviously faulty watch, having read reviews on here from people who were still stuck with a watch that stopped working soon after initial repair. No, that is considered an exchange, and they can't do that because of the tag. I have never received such awful customer service and am stuck with a watch that is shady to say the least. Even if I get it fixed with them, it should never have happened. I have a Cartier watch from an authorized dealer that I have never had a problem with. These watches generally don't have problems - so why so many issues with watches from this seller? They clearly don't care about repeat business or service recovery and I will be reporting them to whoever I can. Bottom line is that saving $1k led me to lose $4k on a watch that I have a super bad taste in my mouth about. I will never, ever do business with these people again. The worst. Read more Less

    On December 6th 2011, I purchased a Tag Heuer Carrera watch (Ref CV2A10BA0706) from the online retailer AuthenticWatches.com. I purchsed the watch in good faith assuming I was getting a new and properly functioning watch. After about a month, I notic...ed that the watch was not keeping time properly and called AuthenticWatches.com to inform them of the watch not working properly or keeping time correctly. They emailed me directions on sending the watch back and an RMA number (Return Authorization Number). After spening money on shipping and return shipping fees, I received the watch back after approx. 4 weeks only to discover that the watch continued to not keep time properly. After reading numerous complaints against this company and my watch not keeping time properly and also not receiving a manufacturers warranty, I called them to inform them that I was sending the watch back and requested a refund. They refused to refund my money so I then initiated a a charge dispute with the credit card company and sent the watch back to them. Then on May 20th 2013, I received notice of a certified letter from Authentic watches claiming I owed them $1073.50 for depreciation 30% ($898.50) charge dispute of ($25.00) plus the fee for refinishing the timepiece ($150.00). They stated that they had my original signature on file agreeing to our policies. $2995 is a lot of money to spend for a watch that does not keep time properly. I contacted the Better Business Bureau of Santa Barabar California and also made a consumer complaint with the Office of the Attorney General (State of California). I'm also working with an attorney. Any advice would be not to do business with this company. They are completely unethical and have numerous complaints against them. I'm surprised they are still in business. Many individuals have posted complaints about no serial numbers on their timepieces, expensive repairs, no warranty to cover needed repairs, restocking fees etc. I know their prices are enticing but it's best to spend more money and go through an authorized delear or reputable jeweler.     I should have researched this place before buying. I ordered a watch for $2500, which was "in stock" and was meant to be shipped within 1 day. My credit card was charged straight away, but after 3 days the watch was still not shipped. I contacted the...m to ask why and was told that the watch was not in stock (the explanation did not make sense), but that they can get the same watch in 8 weeks and it is now $400 more expensive (which I should pay). I said no, and asked for a refund. They sent me an email, confirming the cancellation of the order. Imagine my surprise, when a couple of days later they charged my credit card again for $2500 and informed me that they had shipped the watch So I ended up paying $5000 for the watch I cancelled. And now I dread to receive a fake or substandard watch. Read more Less

    I was skeptical making a purchase like this over the internet but couldn't avoid the price delta between Authentic Watches & stand alone jewelry stores. I know jewelry stores need to make a profit but, $800-$1,000 savings was too much to pass up.Also..., I was concerned about maintenance. I bought a Tag Heuer and you can take this watch to any Tag authorized dealer and they will take care of you.Very happy with my purchase & dealing with Authentic Watches. Read more Less
