    Misrepresented Item

    I contacted Atrec to see if the paddle extenders they sell fit Carlisle kayak paddles. They assured me that they do so I ordered two. They do NOT fit Carlisle kayak paddles. Since they misrepresented the item to me I thought they should cover the cos...ts of return shipping. They will NOT cover return shipping. They also sent me a defective kayak paddle with this order.     Placed an order for Merrell hiking shoes on Jan 25th that were listed as in stock. Received order confirmation immediately. After 10 days, I had not received any shipping confirmation. Emailed customer service and received response that they would lo...ok into the issue. 3 days later, received an email indicating my order was cancelled and would receive a refund. As of today, still have not seen the credit on my charge card. It seems I am not the only person who has had this issue with this company. Read more Less

    I bought a North Face rain jacket at a great price, and it was shipped immediately. Couldn't be better, right?Wrong. I was told if I wrote a review I would get a 20% discount on the next item I purchased. I did write the review and indeed received a ...20% off coupon. However, it would not cover my purchase -a regularly priced item which was not restricted in the small print. When I emailed customer service, I just received a standard very sorry Charlie response.     My experience was great and super fast.This may be helpful. You can avoid the wait and speak directly to a sales rep by dialing 866-945-8263. So much easier talking directly with a knowledgeable person regarding my order.

    I have ordered 3 times from altrec and always had great service and quick shipping. I did need to return/exchange a few items and the process was simple. I love that they offer 20% discount when you review items. I will definitely shop from them more.... Read more Less

    After 18 days of not shipping my order, they email to say its Out of Stock and I will not be recieving it at all. When I made my order there was no mention of possible shipping delay, but if you sift carefully through their site, you find they can s...hip up to two weeks later for "special order" which is any reduced price items! More than two weeks after my order, not only had the item not shipped but they decided they didn't have it in stock after all. Terrible customer service. Read more Less

    Pricing for Mountain hardware fleece is listed on yahoo for $97 - you go to the site and the REAL price is $184. No way to do business.
