    Took a while but worth the wait

    I usually avoid doing business with religious extremists like Goedecker's, but I'm softening up in my older age. Our local appliance stores didn't have in stock the GE Cafe range model that we were interested in, so we had to do internet research on ...it. Goedecker's had a fabulous price that the local store refused to match, no state sales tax and $99 to bring it upstairs into our house and take away the old one. We knew that it would take a while but we were willing to wait. 23 days after we placed the order it was in the kitchen. Along the way, Goedecker's emailed us the status and tracking info on our order. JB Hunt Final Mile delivery messed up by scheduling the delivery for Monday afternoon and then calling me Monday afternoon to tell me that they forgot to load it on to the truck and would have to deliver it the next day. Fortunately, I work at home and it wasn't a big deal for me. I would order again from this company. The only suggestion I would make to Goedecker's for them to change would be to practice their religion as a personal thing and not wave it around fanatically.     I bought a GE electric range from Goedekers. First time I used them. Great product, as described, fast free delivery. I am very pleased with the product, price, and delivery. I will use them again.

    I was very hesitant at first because of the excellent price and free shipping. I thought there was a "catch" to the GREAT deal, but everything was very good. The product is great, the price was the best around, shipping was free and only took a week ...and half, delivery company was extremely polite and the company sent me emails on the status of my product ordered in every phase!     I purchased a maytag frontload Maxima washer and dryer. The service was great as were the prices. I also recieved free shipping and the guys that delivered were also polite. I love the washer and dryer and not having to bend over all the time I also ...ordered the pedestals which makes the chores alot easier. I will buy from Goedekers again. Thanks a bunch!     My order did not go through on-line and the customer service helped me to place the order. I reveived the item on 10-17-2012 as per delivery scheduled. I am very satisfied with the item and hope the things will stay very satisfactory in future.

    I bought a refrigerator and wall oven fromGoedekers. I could not find any price lower than it, and free shipping. That's the best thing for this purchase. Shipping took 3 weeks: one week for processing order, one week for shipping to their warehouse,... and one week for shipping to my house. I cannot say it's bad because they are appliances. Free delievery stops everything in front of my door. Fortunately the driver aggreed to help me to move the appliances into my living room. I had to do the rest myself. So, remember to select White Glove instead of free shipping. You spend $100 more. But you save your time and energy. Read more Less

    Painful experience ordering. Delivered damaged. Unfortunatley, wife signed for it without opening box as the delivery guy told her the box looked fine and it would be much more difficult to move into the house with the box opened. Due to this, they f...elt we had no case to prove they damaged it. Bullied me into keeping a damaged product. Wanted $ 187 to ship back when it was on $ 99 to ship to my house. Told me if I drove it back, there would be a 30% restocking fee (for a damaged item?) Offered me $ 85 dollars for damage allowance, otherwise I could call GE and have it fixed under warranty. Now I am waiting for service to repair my damaged item. Looks like a forklift ran into it or it was dropped, so I don't even know if it works. All I asked for was a new undamaged item and they refuse to oblige. Not sure why I can't just return it to the store myself, but they won't allow that, so I am stuck. Now it somehow GE's problem to fix, not theirs. Terrible business practice. I will never by there. I have bought there in the past and it was not like this. beward. Read more Less

    Saved a fair amount of money over my local appliance stores and I loved the free shipping--can't beat that. Getting it took a bit longer than I liked but felt it was not Goedeker's fault--warehouse here in town dropped the ball.

    I ordered 3 items through Goedekers due to attractive price and promising of free delivery. However to get your order arrive at your door step is another story. First one of the order is on back order, heck, if it's on back order WHY didn't your web ...page shows that in the first place? Goedekers' information system sucks, dumb as hell. Then unhappily I switched to a different order, only told again the order is ON BACK ORDER !!! Then I have to ask them to ship the other two items first, and they charged me delivery fee for separating the orders not because of my fault... Avoid this e-tailer...they don't really qualify as a true intelligent e-tailer. Read more Less

    Great purchase of Frigadaire oven/microwave

    After searching the net for the right size oven/microwave I came across Goedeker's. They had the best prices and free shipping for the Frigadaire that fit my needs. When I called for more information, they were very friendly and courteous. I ordered ...on line, easy. Received conformatiom immediately. I received my order in about 2 weeks (I live in CA), in perfect condition! Highly recommend doing business with Goedeker's and will again! Read more Less
