    Will Sell Your Email Adress to Spammers

    I unsubscribed from Overstock.com's mailing list yesterday due to the fact that they would send me multiple emails everyday. After I unsubscribed, they said it would take 10? business days to unsubscribe! WTH? Ok, I thought, i'll have to suffer throu...gh more annoying emails from them for awhile. Then, today after i loaded up my email, I had a new email from Overstock of course, but I also had 5 emails from spammers that I had never recieved prior to unsubscribing from Overstock's mailing list! They sold my email adress to spammers because I had unsubscribed. All this because I bought one item from their stupid, rediculously unorganized site. BE WARNED. DO NOT SHOP THERE! Read more Less

    I ordered a diamond ring a while ago and within a few days the price went down significantly in the website so I wrote to the customer service to see whether they will honor the difference as I did not even receive the ring yet. They never got back w...ith me and I tried calling them and I was not able to reach them. I kept writing until finally someone replied and they said it was not true and that my information is not accurate.I wrote to them that I have the proof and they never got back with me after that e-mail. I am not worried about the difference in the price but it is the principal and that I am disappointed with the customer service. Also, the diamond ring started looking like a piece of crap after a few weeks, so I learnt my lesson and I will never shop in that big O again! Read more Less

    Overstock is great...until there is a problem with the product delivered. I paid $180 for a mattress topper that arrived damaged. I waited 3 days for a response to my request for a replacement and was told I would have to wait 10 days for UPS inspec...tions plus up to another two weeks for a replacement to be sent. I said just send back my my money and take back your product. Absolutely horrble customer srevice has convinced me never to use overstock again! Read more Less

    Overstock.com by far has the absolute worst email service when trying to contact their customer service.... Here’s my story.. I had a BIG problem with one of their associates at their auction site. I write Overstock.com’s customer service and ...below is a copy of my first contact with Overstock.com saying at the top of the letter(even tho they haven’t did any thing at all) “We believe that we have resolved your inquiry” What???? Really? WOW! Oops, because in at the bottom, according to Tiffany E. of the Escalations Team “we need more complete information. Please provide the following.” But wait I thought you fixed everything and even CLOSED the case file on it......Ok no problem... 13 TIMES I try and reply to the email and even just send them a almost bank email and get a auto response e mail back saying, in short, “ O NO! Your recent reply could not be processed.” (See the whole message below) Gee sorry, all these years and literally thousands of emails and I’ve been sending them wrong, Please Overstock.com com enlighten me! Now I get to open even more inquiry’s can’t wait, yep. I get to wait yet even some more time explain to them what.. Errrr no wiat, never mind. I won’t be able to reply anyway...................

    overstock is where i go to shop online every time. there prices are lower than anyone else i have ever found and i use them all the time
