    I am a "potential" new customer and when I called the 1800 number the tele prompt came on told ne to wait. Finally, when some came on the line, I heard to women talking "were are going to do the same to this call." and then hung up on me!

    OK, this is my 4th contact lens purchase from 1-800-GET-LENS... They have friendly customer service representatives, low prices everyday, amazingly fast shipping and an easy to use online ordering system...

    My contacts were still not shipped 2 weeks after I placed the order. After calling customer service, I was told that they didn't have my prescription in stock, so they had to special order it, and that it would be shipped by the end of the week. OK, ...why didn't I even get an e-mail to tell me this? Comes the weekend, and still no shipment notice, so I called customer service again. This time, I was told that they got the contacts they ordered for me, but had to send it to another customer because his order was "rushed." That means they have to place another order for me, and that my contact won't be ready for shipment til October. I mean, WTH? That's totally wrong and unprofessional. So I canceled my order. Their prices are good, but I'd much rather pay more than to be treated like that. Read more Less
