I oreded a Bar Height table set from Cymax and cancelled it and the status says cancelled but after reading the terrible reviews I am afraid it will be delivered anyway and all the ridiculous fees they charge I will be out of alot of money. Cymax makes it real easy to order and receive an item from their online store. Their prices are very competitive too. But, if something goes wrong, and you need to contact them, you are screwed. I've called twice, each time on hold for over 30 minute...s. Their customer service is only available Mon-Fri, while I'm at work! That makes it difficult to spend over 30 minutes on hold waiting to talk to someone. My end table had a defect on it. I was told to donate the item to goodwill and they would give me a full refund once I fax them the donation receipt. It's been over a week since I donated the item and faxed my donation receipt. I still have no credit on my card, and find it near impossible to get a hold of someone to advise the status on my credit. Basically, I feel like my money has been stolen from me. Read more Less
This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Item was supposedly in stock with a shipment time of 2-3 business days. Order placed 5/14/2012 and shipped 6/4/2012 (after I had already cancelled the order). Customer Service Reps ...are rude and incompetent. Buy the product somewhere else! I placed an order for an office desk on 01/02/12, there was something wrong with the website and I was charged twice and two sets of desks actrully arrived to my house. I started calling this company for returning one set of desk(including two boxes)..., the taking back hppenes very fast on 01/25/12, but I haven't got my refund untill now!! I tried to call them many times. Initially they told me they didn't received the returning set, they put the blame on Fedex, they said Fedex didn't get it. I have to call them many times, finally one of the manager told me there was some communication between them and Fedex, the refund should be into my bank account the next week, that was in March. And last week they changed it again, I received another email that they verified with Fedex that Fedex only took one box from me, they put blame on somebody else may have stolen the other box!! they try to put the blame on somebody else agian, and they never want to take the responsibility!! I don't know whether I'm able to get the US$ 498.00 refund back now. This is the worst worst online shopping experience, this company is not reliable, it does not worth you to put your money in. I bought a TV stand last week in Dec 2011. Cymax sent me two stands and charged me twice. Its now Feb 2012 and they still havent sent me this mystery return number by email so Fed-Ex can pick it up and I can get my money back. Very easy to place the order. Then came the bad part. Bed was shipped way way later than promised. Arrived with parts (slats!) missing. Have spent hours on the phone on hold; very SLOW resolution. Still no missing parts one month later, and no indica...tion when they might arrive. Read more Less
