Olay Fresh Effects Bead Me Up! Exfoliating CleanserOlay Fresh Effects Bead Me Up! Exfoliating Cleanser

If there’s one thing that I love more than my super blonde hair, it’s my skin. I take great pride in taking care of it almost (but not quite) to the point of obsession! Call me a narcissist if you must, but if you use the right skincare products, you’ll never look a day older than 25. Alright, maybe that’s a serious exaggeration, but taking care of your skin is very important and will help you to look younger, healthy and rested. Here are few of my current top skin care must-haves:

Olay Fresh Effects Bead Me Up! Exfoliating Cleanser ($7.99, drugstore.com)

What it is: We’re all pretty familiar with the traditional Olay products, so how fun is it that the brand decided to launch a new skincare line called Fresh Effects? This collection is “dedicated to the needs of the millennial girl-on-the-go” which I like to think totally describes me in a nutshell. In addition to washing your face daily, it’s also important to exfoliate. This facial cleanser contains gentle exfoliating microbeads so it gives you the best of both worlds in one product! After one wash, you’ll notice a deeper clean regardless of your skin type.

Key ingredients: Foaming bubbles purify and lift dirt while microbeads exfoliate. Contains Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract to increase circulation and blood flow to tissues as well as Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, which is an antioxidant.

Clarisonic AriaClarisonic AriaClarisonic Aria ($199, clarisonic.com)

What it is: Let me just begin by telling you that I attribute the bulk of my clear skin to this great gadget by Clarisonic.

You might look at it and wonder what all the hoopla is in regards to something that looks like a circular brush. But within that brush lies the magic. Without going into a long scientific soliloquy, I can tell you that the brush features a patented micro-massage motion that moves at more than 300 movements per second to cleanse your skin. It’s pretty pricey, yes, but it’s totally worth the splurge in that you’ll have the peace of mind of clear skin. The Aria not only exfoliates off dead skin cells, but it also removes traces of makeup that are usually left behind in the pores, resulting in smaller, tighter pores.

The Aria contains three speeds (low, normal and high) and a T-Timer, which allows you to effectively spend the perfect amount of time cleansing each part of your face. It’s also USB enabled which makes it perfect for travel.

L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Miracle Blur Instant Skin Smoother Finishing CreamL'Oreal Paris Revitalift Miracle Blur Instant Skin Smoother Finishing CreamL’Oreal Revitalift Miracle Blur Instant Skin Smoother Finishing Cream (Starting from $20 at walmart.com and drugstores nationwide)

What it is: One would think that with one application this product is going to make your skin look like a smeary mess (hence the word “blur” in the product's name) but it does the complete opposite.

Just a small amount dabbed onto wrinkles, lines or pores will give you an instant flawless look. I like to apply it after my skin cream and before my foundation. I tried wearing it alone and it works splendidly! The best part is that it contains SPF 30 so your skin is completely protected once you walk outside.

Key ingredients: Opti-Blur Technology diffuses light in millions of directions to erase the look of lines, wrinkles and pores while Silica absorbs and disperses skins natural oils leaving an overall matte look.

Aveeno Positively Radiant Intensive Night CreamAveeno Positively Radiant Intensive Night CreamAveeno Positively Radiant Intensive Night Cream ($16.99, drugstore.com)

What It Is: One of the gentlest night creams that I have ever used, this stuff goes on light and won’t clog pores while you sleep. It works to boost tone, texture, dullness, blotchiness and brown spots and after just one use, I noticed that I woke up with fresh-looking, radiant skin.

Key ingredients: Active Naturals Total Soy Complex along with Vitamin B3 work together to get you glowing.

Dr. Perricone Blue PlasmaDr. Perricone Blue PlasmaPerricone MD Blue Plasma ($95, perriconemd.com)

What it is: This is one shade of blue that you won’t mind applying to your face! This daily peel can be used daily to help give you a luminous glow.

After just one use, I noticed that my skin was super smooth, soft and hydrated. So, of course I’ve been using it daily (which is ok because it’s non-acidic). Just apply after washing your face, let sit for a bit and peel off. No need to rinse face afterwards as you can go right into applying makeup.

Key ingredients: Copper (which gives this product its blue hue and is historically used for wound healing); salmon egg enzymes removes dead skin cells; extract of magnolia bark and antioxidants found in blueberries hydrate.
