Human-Demand-UI-screenApp junkies know it can sometimes be difficult to find indie titles in app stores. Independent app makers with scarce advertising budgets have an even harder time finding customers. Human Demand hopes to change that by improving advertising options for the little guy.
Human Demand is an ad solutions provider that aims to make mobile media buying effortless. They recently launched the industry’s first self-serve mobile ad platform for user acquisition. What does that mean in English? It means they’re providing a floatation device for the tens of thousands of independent developers drowning in the app stores.
“Acquiring users is the number one priority and the traditional ad platforms and tools available previously were not built for the performance focused developer,” said Howie Schwartz, CEO and founder of Human Demand.
“Developers are plagued by a lack of transparency and absence of optimization tools on the current mobile ad platforms and are overlooked by agencies demanding huge minimum budgets to launch. There is just nowhere for independent app developers to run non-incentivized user acquisition campaigns – it’s the reason we are here.”
Well, the “reason we are here” is to make money. No fault there. If Human Demand can do so while helping the little guys of the app world break in, then all the better.
“Human Demand opened the black box of mobile ads for us,” said Jamie Ottilie, CEO of Galaxy Pest Control.
“The platform is transparent, self-service and easy to use. It provides the independent developer the sort of insights we need to properly manage our campaigns in order to maximize returns.”
Putting it to work
Through a private beta offering earlier this year, the Human Demand platform ran more than 200 iOS and Android campaigns across nine countries, and is currently processing more than 20 billion mobile ad decisions per month. Providing access to tens of billions of mobile impressions worldwide, the platform is fully integrated with leading mobile ad exchanges for smartphone apps including the MoPub Marketplace, one of the core products offered by mobile supply-side platform MoPub, Inc. In addition, Human Demand is directly integrated with leading mobile publishers both in-app and on mobile web, providing high quality display inventory for mobile advertisers worldwide.
“Human Demand was great to work with on our launch and promotion of Mad Humans.” Said Managing Director Alan McGlade.
“We were able to specifically target an iPad audience and acquire users at our cost goals. Having access to all the data showing where users are coming from down to the carrier level was very valuable.”
