Philosophy Amazing GracePhilosophy Amazing GraceTake a whiff of this tidbit: November is National Fragrance Month. March 21 is National Fragrance Day and the 1st week in June is National Fragrance Week. Today is also celebrating National Single Parents Day as well as National Common Courtesy Day (which should be everyday!). It is also common courtesy not to douse yourself in stinky perfume at the office, which thankfully, nobody does here at the Yahoo! office in Sunnyvale. The Yahoo! Shopping Fashionate blog crew kindly rounded up their favorite fragrance picks for me, and all have been deemed office-friendly.

I've been wearing this scent for a few years, turning to it in the spring and summer months for daytime wear. I carry the rollerball version ($18, Sephora.com) in my handbag for easy access while

PANTONE Fall 2O13: A Palette of Many Moods
My closet is craving some spring fashion pieces, but the icicles on my hibiscus plant are telling me it's not time to get those bright coral ankle pants just yet. In spite of the weather, we're already thinking ahead. Fall 2013 Fashion Week is in full-effect (Feb 7-Feb 14) and big announcements are flooding the web every second of the day.

One of my favorite announcements is the PANTONE® Color of the Year, which usually results in an explosion of products ranging from stilettos to wallpaper in the nominated shade. This year's designated hue is Emerald Green, and although I think the shade is gorgeous, I feel that I'd need to wear the shade as far away from my bright reddish-pink hair as possible. The PANTONE® Fashion Color Report Fall 2013 gives me many other choices, and there's something for everyone in this palette. Let's take a closer look.
