The World of Star Wars
Thirty years ago, a saga started (in mid-story that is) and ended with a final piece of the plot in 2005 with "Episode III: Revenge of the Sith", but we're still beggin' for more. So, we crafted The World of Star Wars website. With a little help from Mr. Lucas himself, this personalized fandom allows you to experience sci-fi's staple like no other. From the sexy Slave Leia group video to a preview of the upcoming "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" video game (just one of 50 video games we feature), this site entertains with fresh info from LucasArts as well as fan-created and archival content. We also offer you an exclusive glimpse of the ultimate Star Wars collection at Rancho Obi-Wan.
Like NASA launching Luke Skywalker's light saber into space, show your devotion to the Skywalker stories by wearing the latest Star Wars costumes for this Halloween. So while we all wait for the new Star Wars live-action TV series to premiere next year and amass those highly adored collectibles, keep your droids up and running; be careful when picking up those power converters; and of course, may the force be with you!

The Cool "Shop by Color" Feature
What kind of shopper are you: the "goal shopper" or the "window shopper?" The goal shopper knows precisely what he or she wants, searches for it, and buys it. The window shopper enjoys exploring what's available, with some preferences in mind, but stays free of the need to purchase -- yet, she (or, on rare occasion, he) usually ends up buying a bunch of stuff, like my wife does.
Whichever type you are, Yahoo! Shopping just made your shopping life easier with the Shop-by-Color feature. Example: a goal shopper, me, craves a turquoise polo shirt. I select the turquoise swatch in the 56 color selector (in the left-hand column) in the polo shirt pages, and voila! Every item matching my criteria pops up, and I acquire my mainstay attire.
Another example: a window shopper joneses for a sexy sarong dress, but the preferred hue is up in the air. She swiftly peruses through pages full of apparel arranged by color with a quick click of that same killer color chart, gets her kicks, and learns about the exact names of the colors offered -- way better than dragging her man through crowded brick-and-mortar malls full of obnoxious mallrats, and who can forget the annoying, pissed-off road ragers in the parking lots.
I'm not done yet. The color-palette feature works for other stuff, too. It scans and organizes more than 10 million products in the entire Yahoo! Shopping catalog, including furniture and electronics. So, check it out and shop by your favorite color.
I'll be busy exploring the olive sofas and teal cell phones.

Most Popular Herbal Supplements
We, at Yahoo! Shopping, categorized the top 72 homeopathic herbs -- our answer to the growing interest in plants and plant extracts to enhance our health naturally. Instead of using modern, manmade pharmaceuticals (some with seriously undesirable side effects or latent, disturbing discoveries), we can take advantage of herbal remedies without a prescription. Many of these substances have centuries-long histories of human use that easily overshadow the brief, corporate clinical trials arranged by today's drug manufacturers.
In my case, I needed something to stop my sporadic insomnia. Before asking my doctor for the heavily marketed Lunesta or Ambien pills, I opted to try Melatonin (a dietary supplement released in the U.S. in 1993). I discovered that this natural hormone -- produced from particular plants -- sends me into a deep sleep without any side effects, which leads me to my advice: Explore our cool herbalist's category to get something to improve your wellbeing. But if you're on prescription medications, check with your doctor about potential undesirable interactions.

Browse 100,000 Ravishing Rugs
Topping this week's shopping searches are the home-enhancing delights that convert flooring into fine art: rugs. From ornamented designs to minimalist patterns, these decor necessities can invigorate the interior of any room.
Finding the right rug takes some patience. You'll need to pick the color range, style, material, and size. But, you can simplify this process by using Yahoo! Shopping. It helps you narrow your search by each of these options via narrowing categories full of over 100,000 items.
Forget going to a brick-and-mortar store and peruse our online rug mall; packed with pretty Persian, fantastic floral, auspicious "Oriental" (excuse the un-PC use of this word -- this term has been hammered into this industry as a style name), contempory, and eight other carpet types. You're bound to find your ideal runner, awesome area rug, and/or stylish accent rug with just a couple mouse clicks.
I found my favorite (this post's featured image: the Calais transitional).
