Guitar Hero Rocks On
The heyday of shredding guitar solos has passed, but those wicked music tracks just got hot again with Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. This week, Web searches for this simulation video game grooves way beyond popular. By giving gamers a chance to simulate solos by rock legends like guitar idol Slash, it comes with a wireless guitar controller and screenplay similar to the Dance Dance Revolution concept. Choosing from dozens of songs by memorable bands including Black Sabbath and Guns N' Roses, players pick, jam, and battle with rippin', original guitar performances -- hammer on, pull off, and bend that whammy bar just like a real guitarist. Don't worry. Note reading isn't required, but you better bring on serious rhythm and dexterity to master Guitar Hero 3. Versions available for the Playstation 3, Playstation 2, Nintendo Wii, and Xbox 360. Rock on, dude.

The World of Star Wars
Thirty years ago, a saga started (in mid-story that is) and ended with a final piece of the plot in 2005 with "Episode III: Revenge of the Sith", but we're still beggin' for more. So, we crafted The World of Star Wars website. With a little help from Mr. Lucas himself, this personalized fandom allows you to experience sci-fi's staple like no other. From the sexy Slave Leia group video to a preview of the upcoming "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" video game (just one of 50 video games we feature), this site entertains with fresh info from LucasArts as well as fan-created and archival content. We also offer you an exclusive glimpse of the ultimate Star Wars collection at Rancho Obi-Wan.
Like NASA launching Luke Skywalker's light saber into space, show your devotion to the Skywalker stories by wearing the latest Star Wars costumes for this Halloween. So while we all wait for the new Star Wars live-action TV series to premiere next year and amass those highly adored collectibles, keep your droids up and running; be careful when picking up those power converters; and of course, may the force be with you!

How the Wii Lured Me: Tennis
What's so wonderful about the Wii, anyway? Released back in November, this Nintendo innovation still tops Web shopping searches. And when it started appearing in my friends' homes, I decided to check it out. As a former fan of classic games including Excite Bike, '85 Tennis, and Tecmo Bowl, I felt confident in my Nintendo skills and challenged my friends to a little one-on-one Wii Tennis that's bundled with the console. More than happy to take me to school, each friend applauded my efforts, but eventually spanked me in the end of each set. In a perfusive sweat, I hastily swung the remote around in perfect "real" tennis form, while they all had a field day on me with wimpy twists of their wrists: What a shame. At least I got a good workout.
What's the point of this story? Don't play like the Nintendo executive plays (he's exaggerating movements for the press). The key is literally all in the wrist, unlike real tennis. So unless you enjoy inflating the heads of your competitive Wii-owning pals, I recommend getting a Wii for yourself; practice like nobody's business; watch the comical Wii tennis training video; beat your buddies' in this new fitness pastime; and see who's smirking now! All in good fun of course.

Great Gaming Action: Halo 3
The battle between aliens (The Covenant and The Flood) threatening the survival of humankind and Earth's elite soldiers (Spartans) has just gone into hyper speed, and you can experience the action on either side in this epic tale with the Xbox 360 video game Halo 3. This sci-fi, mega-hit allows you to fill the role of the ultimate hero (Master Chief - a bionic man/super soldier) or an alien commander (The Arbiter - the trader) within a futuristic universe refined to the smallest detail including a vast assortment of weapons, body armor, and vehicles. Critics rave about this concluding third edition of Halo for amazing graphics (HD), superior sound, excellent multiplayer options, and gameplay extras -- such as a bubble shield and additional weaponry.
If you crave more info on this action-packed game, check out answers to the following common concerns...
1) I'm not convinced about this game's superiority.
Sample the action and the story's history via exclusive videos and view over 500 screenshots to make your own judgment by visiting the Yahoo! Games Halo 3 Launch Central -- and don't miss the "Five Reasons You Want It."
2) I'm totally confused about the plot.
Go to The Halo Story: A Primer -- synopsis of the Halo series.
3) Which first-person shooter games can I compare to Halo?
Army of Two (Xbox 360)
Gears of War (Xbox 360)
Bioshock (Xbox 360)
Resistance: Fall of Man (PS3)
Now you know it all. So, go get it and enjoy the cooperative or competitive play online to relieve those frustrations in real life in the fantastic battlefields of Halo 3.

Hilarious Humor Shirts
Season a dull wardrobe with the latest in quality humorous T-shirts. A huge selection begs to entertain you, like the witty "I'm with..." fashions and the provocative "party" tops. But aside from the common catch-phrase tees, you can opt for '80s shirts instead. Reminisce with nerdy graphics by donning funny, classic Atari video game ads -- including super-cool Space Invaders and revolutionary Pac-Man (like the featured "Byte Me" item). Also, get a good laugh by celebrating hot TV shows from the eighties: the hilarious "Sanford and Son", the original "Miami Vice", and the unforgettable "A-Team." And don't forget the vintage toy sensations: fruity Strawberry Shortcake, Gremlin-celebrity Gizmo, American-icon Mr. Potato Head, and marvelous My Little Pony. So, spice up your serious apparel with a comical tee and bring a smile or giggle to a passerby, or just yourself.
