When my best friend Amanda told me she was going to be a contestant on the new Fox Reality series "The Search for the Next Elvira" that airs on Saturday, October 13 at midnight, I could only think of her face on highway billboards, cardboard cutouts of her wearing an Elvira costume in a supermarket's beer aisle, and paparazzi hounding us in shopping malls. OK, maybe I just hoped for Amanda's dream of following in the footsteps of Halloween's bustiest babe would come true. Amanda isn't the only one with this odd dream.
