Pros: Easiest to Operate E-Reader in the market

Cons: limited to only reading

I just purchased the Nook Simple Touch at the local B&N book store. It was on sale at the now lower price of $98. Before I decided on this unit I read reviews of all the other NOOK units as well as those units from the Amazon Co. which is their main ...competitor. My choicde was based on what I wanted the unit to do - just a reader - no colors or other bells and whisels. It does that beautifully considering that I am a 81 year old person who need glasses to read at close proximity. The "newest" NOOK came out with a "light" but the extra cost of $20. ($119.) is not worth it when you could buy the clip-on reader light for NOOK Simple Touch for $13. besides the benefit of using the light when reading "hard copy" books. If you live close to a B&N store their staff is very familiar with their reader and are very helpful in support whenever needed. I also bought a special AC plug adaptor for a faster recharge of the unit instead of having the computer doing it. The plug cost $8.00 and worth having.
