Cons: No good for home entertainment systems

Do not buy this TV (Model: UN40EH6000FXZA) if you are planning to have any kind of home entertainment system that involves more than one component but you do not want to end up using multiple remotes. I went to Best Buy to purchase this TV. After exp...laining in detail how I was going to mount and use it, the salesperson talked me into also purchasing a Samsung Soundbar. This would have been fine except that this TV does not have something called “Anynet.” If both the TV and Soundbar had “Anynet” then the TV and the Soundbar could be programmed to work off the same remote so I would not have to sit with a remote in each hand (or more remotes if you have additional Samsung products). The salesperson did not bother to tell me about this shortcoming. I also told the salesperson several times I had Comcast. As it turns out there is no Comcast remote code for any Samsung Soundbar so I cannot solve the single remote problem by programming the Soundbar into the Comcast remote as an AUX. It makes me wonder how many other Samsung products cannot be programmed into cable tv remotes. Bottom line, if you do not want to watch tv while holding and working multiple remotes, then avoid this TV. P.S.: Better yet “Buyer Beware” of any Samsung product. Read more Less
