Need a Big Gun ..Get a Canon
Pros: Zoom, 1080P video, Speed between photos, Easy to use

I have several digital cameras but this one is the best. It was ready to go right out of the box with simple clear and concise inctructions and Wow does it perform. The super crisp, super fast Cmos sensor, extra long 35 zoom that goes to 140 zoom digitally and the overall options on this camera make it perfect for the weekend photographer that wants great professional looking photos and videos.

The ease of use and supreme quality of the pics and videos are amazing. The zoom range allows for the perfect framing of anything you would care to shoot. It's just what I would expect from a Canon ... and more.

Pros: ease of use
Cons: no remote shutter
Great camera with a couple of minor niggles e.g. no raw and no remote shutter release but in saying that both can be overcome by using CHDK
