Great Reader

This is a wonderful reader. I upgraded from an older Sony reader. Before I had to carrie my MP3 player around now I just put my music on the reader. And any where I can get WiFi I can get more books, or browse the internet, so also can leave the lap top at home. I found the reader on sale for a wonderful price. I will keep this reader for a long time.

I have 2 Sony ereaders and got this one as soon as it came out in October and was not disappointed. I have found Sony to be very durabe and great features and great support. I got the black which is very stylish and ultra light. I got the standard case which is made super durable. The ereader actually snaps into it so it is secure. I love all of the features including the 13 dictionaries including translation. The ease of use is great. It is wireless and I get nearly all of my books free from the public library ebook through sony overdrive. Direct links to the public library and the Sony store and also a browser and favorites and so much more. Charges super fast with included USB. There is handwriting of notes, highlighting and you can upload notes to your PC which is great for studying. There is so much more. I highly recommend this ereader.

Pros: Easy to use and carry
Cons: poor battery power
I have had a Sony ereader for more than 3 years and I have had to take it in for repair at least 3 times in the first year and the problem is still not fixed. The battery keeps losing power and the battery has been replaced each time I took it in for repair. If I let the ereader sit for a week (without using it), the battery will be down to 1 level. The battery power goes very quickly when reading as well.
