Pros: Nice looking

Cons: Ovens don't work even close to described

We bought a full complement of GE CAFE appliances and were excited for our remodel. The controls on oven get so hot, you can't touch them, (990setss). The accuracy of controls is dismal. GE replaced the complete unit because of my complaints, but still the bottom oven doesn't begin to cook anything in the prescribed times. A simple cake took 25% longer than expected and a 12 lb turkey took almost 50% more time than suggested. Also, the fact that the upper oven controls as just barely as sophisticated as my campstove strikes me a bit odd on a $3000 range. If I can't get this fixed this time, I am taking out the entire kitchen of applian ces and returning them and getting something else. I will say that the CS people are very nice, but the service people leave a LOT to be desired. All they want to do is get in and get out, and don't care if the system even works. Worse field service I have seen in 50 years.
