This is, by far, the best vacuum.
I am a housekeeper for individual homes, and I can tell you, the kirby is too bulky, heavy, and has no edge sweeping!

Pros: 1) It is much lighter than our previous model - not a bad thing. 2) The power suction is terrific and rivals or betters the heavier/older model. 3) The bag system is absolutely well thought out as you never have to touch the bag and it is a piece of cake to get to. 4) There is a mini-cleaner power attachment. 5) The hose is flexible and long enough.
Cons: 1) The electric cord is attached in a slightly awkward manner (at the bottom) so that while you are sweeping, it is difficult to find the cord as you have to bend down to keep grabbing it once you let go.
