    I was looking for LCD TV for bedroom. I found this CRT and said WOW. Exellent value for little money.

    Pros: HD Perfect picture, Plenty of in-and-out jacks, Good fringe reception

    I live in a fringe area, 50 to 100 miles from broadcast stations. Fed up with cable and satellite, I put up a 60' tower, a winegard antenna, and a signal booster and was worried that HD might not work. I have channels I never got before, and nobody s...eems to advertise that many channels broadcast more than one program at a time. e.g. I now get channel 8, ch 8-1, ch 8-2, ch 8-3, etc. The Samsung picks up HD and Standard broadcast. I read some of the other reviews, and I believe I have seen somewhere that Samsung has admitted that something like one out of three sets have the distortion problem. If you buy a set without watching it first and have distortion, take it back for a replacement. If you hook up a VCR or DVD recorder, use the audio video out jacks rather than the antenna and you can record the digitally reproduced picture. Recorded on the DVD, it is as good as the original HD.
