Cons: MALFUNCTIONING ICE MAKER AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery Series Refrigerator as well as Frigidaire Gallery Series dishwasher and a Frigidaire Professsional Microwave and Elecric Induction Range from American Appliance Store in St Louis MO. I made the purchase in March 2011,... American shortly thereafter closed its doors. The Ice Maker began having issues within 2 months of the purchase. I called Frigidaire, they referred me to a service repair company. The repair company came out and called Frigidaire tech support. After a cuople of hours of working on the unit, the ice maker appeared to be working. Becasue no parts were purchased the service repair company could not invoice frigidaire and the issue was not documented. I had repair there 6 times over the next 11 months and only 2 of the visits could be invoice because parts were purchased those two times only.Frigidaires policy is after 3 invoiced incidents you can request a replacement. Well the third incident came in March 2012, the last month of the original warranty. The Original Warranty was definitely still active at that time. To be safe I purchased the extended warranty from Fridigaire for $103.45 so that I could pursue the replacement. Well I ended up selling my home with the unit included in the sale on May 25, 2012. So i contacted Frigidaire for a refund of my extended warranty which was a much better deal for them than replacing the crappy refrigerator. I was told that i would get reimbursed the full amount of $103.45 less 10% administration charges. So I am expecting $93.11 which again is cheap for what they should owe me, and instead of getting that amount they are offering me $18.98. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. I did everything I was suppose to and they have royally screwed me over. I will never buy Frigidaire again and I will post my experience on every web site I can find. this company.
