    Pros: Great TV! Very sharp picture

    Cons: None.

    This has been a phenomenal plasma TV. I was afraid it was going to be a second rate Samsung product which I've seen in some of their cheaper LCD and LED TV's. Boy, was I wrong. The clarity and sharpness in HD is amazing! A neighbor came by and asked ...me if I paid out of my nose for this TV. I showed him the price on sale and she was blown away like I still am. She later went to the same store and they were sold out. We both can see why. I wish more Samsung products came with this quality and consistency at this price? Read more Less

    Great TV while it lasts

    Pros: great picture

    Cons: common problem with failure shortly after 1 year warranty expires

    I purchased this TV in August 2011 for just over $500. It has worked great up until a few days ago. It will not turn on. The power light comes on and the TV just clicks. Conveniently (for Samsung) this happened shortly after the 1 year warranty expir...ed. If you really are determined to purchase this TV I would suggest also buying an extended warranty. To make matters worse, this seems to be/has been a problem with Samsung TV's going back to pre-2008. There is a class action law suit for those TV's. You would think knowing that this is a common problem that they would have corrected it. Apparently not since my 2011 model now has the same failure. So now that it is past the warranty period I have found that it will cost about $300 to fix (for a $500 TV). #$%$ Read more Less
