    Pros: Light weight, great power

    Cons: Some plastic parts not sturdy enough

    We got this this christmas, my wife had vacumed our living room several times with our old vacume after I put a light box in our ceiling. When she went over it again with the Animal it acted like one. We have a plush carpet and this thing suced up sm...all chunks of drywall that had been left by the other machine. The con is that the canister has several parts made of plastic that should be made of metal. Read more Less

    Not worth the money

    Pros: Worked great for a year but nothing but problems since

    Cons: High Price lousy customer service

    I bought this vacuum since everywhere I looked it had good reviews. It worked great for about a year but since then I have had nothing but problems. Whenever I call the customer service they tell me that I just need to clean the filters more often bu...t I clean them once a week and it still won't pick up hardly anything. I have sent it to be repaired twice both times it took them over a month and within 2 weeks I start to have the same problems with it again. Read more Less

    Amazing Vacuum

    Pros: Picks everything up and works on all floor types

    Cons: none

    I have had the hoover vacuum all the way up to a 1300.00 rainbow (I really do love the rainbow). The Dyson however is the greatest vacuum well worth the 550.00 you'll spend. I have 2 large dogs who shed alot. Break out the Dyson and the problem is fi...xed. It's light weight and so easy to move. My husband even does it for me now. Read more Less

    Not As Good As Bigger Brother DC41

    Pros: manueverability

    Cons: suction, bag copacity

    It has considerably less suction and bag copacity than it bigger brother DC41. But hey buy smaller get smaller!

    Pros: Works awesome when it runs

    Cons: pricey when we purchased it

    The Vacuum sucks up pet hair like nothing else but the only issue we have had is the start switch. When turning on, we have to hold down the switch seemingly forever. It is on its second trip in for service, the first place Dyson had us send it to di...d not do anything to fix the unit. This time we sent it to Sears, so we shall see if they can fix it. If it was not under warranty I would fix the thing, but with 5 year parts and Labor we will let them play a few more times I suppose. Read more Less

    Pros: handles easily for older people, but still does a better job than any other sweeper I have owned.

    Cons: wish it could run itself!

    I have arthritis and it is hard for me to do a lot of things, especially using a sweeper. This is the most amazing sweeper I have owned in my 45 years of marriage. I have carpet and tile floors and it cleaned them both better than the other sweepers,... or inhouse vac. I own. Thank you Dyson. Read more Less
