Best in class!
Pros: Amazing HD picture clarity
Cons: No S-video connection?
Recently got this TV at an amazing black Friday price of $598! To appreciate how superior the stunning clarity of this TV's picture is, you really need to see it in the store vs. all the other brands. Only owned it 2 weeks so I have yet to try all the features (like 3D, Blu Ray and some of the internet apps) but I find myself staring at every live HD broadcast I can find. Even the network morning shows are mesmerizing to look at! NFL football broadcasts...WOW!
The one big drawback is that no S Video connection is offered on the set. There is still a lot of video equipment floating around that features S Video hook ups. I can get an adapter (S to HDMI) for about $50...but should not have to on a TV of this quality. S Video is not exactly extinct, YET.
Sound quality is about as good as you can expect from a TV thats about an inch thick. Not much room for high quality speakers in this cabinet. Its tolerable sound quality but already considering the Vizio sound bar with sub, to do the TV justice.Was this review helpful? Yes - No
