    Pros: best coffee I have ever had

    Cons: can be hard to pour

    I got this coffee maker through community coffee and began having the best coffee I have ever had. I have more comments on people liking this coffee than any other coffee maker I have had. Being a coffee lover, I was hoping this machine would be as g...ood as the ratings it received from the Coffee Association stating it was one of only two pots to brew the perfect cup of coffee. They were correct in their assessment!There are two things I do not like about this machine: the first is that when you pour too fast, the carafe tends to spill down its side until it is about one-third empty. The spilling isn't bad, but it is an inconvenience. The second thing I don't like is that I love coffee and it only makes 8 cups of perfect coffee. I can drink that in less than two hours and I am off to make more. When I have company over, I cannot make enough to please everyone fast enough. I would consider a second unit if I thought I would entertain more.The pot is gorgeous. The clock and design are modern and tasteful. What else would expect from Bunn but a good pot? Bottom line: if you want great coffee, even perfect coffee, this is the cheapest of the two models that can do it for you. Other than a French Press, you are not going to find anything better for less than $80 anywhere.Of course, you will not like the coffee offered to you by anyone else unless they have really good equipment... my wife refuses to drink coffee from her work now.     Pros: great coffee

    Cons: carafe to small

    brews great coffee in less than 10 mins easy clean up you don't have too wipe up water for 5 mins every time you make a new pot just through the old filter out put a new one in fill with water and enjoy!

    makes a great cup of coffee. I have waited for time brewing from Bunn for a long time and now it is here The Crafe leaks when u pour a cup. I had an old Bunn crafe that i am using.

    Great machine-insulated carafe has bad pouring issue

    This review is for the INSULATED CARAFE machine.... To begin with, I am really impressed with the folks at Bunn. It appears to be a very good company that is customer service oriented. My machine makes really good coffee (however I wish it would mak...e more of it each time). The carafe keeps the somewhat small amount of coffee the machine brews hot for at least two hours or more. Only major problem that I have is the design of the top part of the insulated carafe as to pouring the finished coffee. Bad, bad, bad... It spills coffee all over the counter because you have to tilt the carafe radically to get the last cup or so out, and it leaves a lot of coffee in the carafe because of the design. Extremely irritating for clean freaks who do not like to have coffee all over the counter, not to mention having the steam come out and "nail" your hand when you pour... I have complained to the Bunn folks, and I get the feeling that they really care. I replaced my at least 8 year old Krupps (that still works as a possible "back up machine") with this new design Bunn. The Bunn method is somewhat different in its operation, but you will get accustomed to it. It really does make a great batch of coffee ... I would be willing to pay extra for a product made here in the U.S. (this one is made in China) because we need to "keep it at home"... Read more Less
