Great GPS
Pros: Reliable, accurate, easy to read
Cons: Bulky car charger cord
Garmin nuvi 1490LMT is easy to use straight out of the box. Acquires satellites in about 30 seconds to be "ready to navigate". Has route preferences for faster time, shorter distance, less fuel or off road; can be used for automobile, pedestrian or bicycle mode. Recalculates routes within about 5 seconds. Easily updates software, maps and screen symbols from PC with included cable. Built-in bluetooth link for hands-free phone use a real "plus".
