    Bad Ice Maker Design

    Pros: Looks good, spacious

    Cons: In-Door ice maker freezes up

    My new side-by-side refrigerator has an indoor ice maker. almost immediately it froze up. They sent me a new ice bucket, no difference. They sent a technician. He said that this is common problem with indoor ice makers. when you open the door warm ai...r blasts in, melts the ice just enough so that when it refreezes the auger jams up and won't rotate...thus, no ice is dispensed. Samsung, after numerous calls, said "SORRY, No Can Help! BYE." They even denied it was a problem when the techn told me it is very commong. Also, check online reviews; it's common. Read more Less
