Pros: Great Toy
Cons: Bad Phone
The IPhone 4 is my third IPhone and I have always loved them. This one however has been a frustrating disappointment. Several of the original draws remain with the apps and the better camera and speed are great improvements. However as a phone it is the worst I have ever dealt with. Since I have started keeping track I have dropped 37 of my last 72 phone calls. I have made these calls in the same area as my last IPhone with which it was not a problem. Also the proximity sensor has often caused issues not working and resulting in muted calls with my cheek. Finally I often will have to go to the multi tasking bar to shut down the mail application and reopen to actually see new mail. With all these issues I would not recommend this phone to the point that it may turn a diehard apple enthusiast into an android buyer.

Cons: poor reception, AT&T, dropped calls, huge battery drainage, poor wifi response
supposed to be an exceptional phone, wrong, dropped calls, poor reception, no coverage, poor battery life, easily dropped, mega expensive to repair, wifi not available even in wifi spots, horrible horrible horrible

Pros: looks great.Apps, camera with flash. OS 4.0.
Cons: Battery life still not very good. Drop calls.
This is by far the best Iphone to come out. It was worth every cent. Though there are, some flaws it is still better then any Droid you can buy!

I bought 2 iphone 4's and 1 iphone 3g.I wish I had never bought them.Its not so much the phone it,s the customer service.For example, 2days ago I dropped my phone,which is my fault.Did not ask apple to waranty it.Called apple to get a price on repair so when I dropped off my phone I could take care of every thing up front.They refused to give repair price said they could not give price over phone cause they didnt know what it would cost.I explained that my phone was completely functional just needed glass replaced,they said that before they could give me repair cost that they needed to do an overall evaluation of the phone something else might also need repaired.They were treating my phone as if it was a living,breathing being that had fallen down and might have other problems internally.took 2.5 hours and several threating calls before i finally got a simple repair price on a repair that is done very often.Another thing and most of all most irritating,once my contract was done ,signed and presented,apple realized they had made a major discrepentcy on my contract which ii was to my favor,they turned around weeks later and said they did not have to honor the contract,but if it were the other way around the consumer has to buy thier way outa contract reguardless os reason.I can give many more reason that are ligit why not to buy any apple products,not cause the products are good,but cutomer service is very POOR and once you enter any contract with them you will down the line regret it,,I DO!!!!!! I will also be posting on as many sights as I possibly can.DON'T BUY APPLE

I had a 3GS for the past 3 years and loved it. I wouldn't have traded it for anything until the battery life started to fade. No problem, it served me well for 3+ years time for an upgrade. Well the IP4 started out great, cool new camera, great graphics, great battery life, etc. Then I noticed that i was not getting service in areas where my 3GS had good service. Not just weak service with one or two bars, but No Service or "Searching..."
I don't care what Apple says about the reception, there is a problem and a little case or even a big one doesn't fix the issue.
Ok so ATT signal isn't the greatest but I dealt with that before. The IP4 works great in downtown San Francisco, but head out to the suburbs or into the central valley of California and "Searching..." for a signal will be what you see most of the time. I'm taking mine back and getting another 3GS.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoWait for it to come on VERIZON!!!
Pros: It's coming to VERIZON in January!
Cons: It's currently only on at&t!
I had Verizon and switched to at&t (MISTAKE!) just to get the phone. 1 week and 25+ dropped calls later (not even factoring in the "death grip" that's another story) I returned it and switched back to Verizon. I never had 25 dropped calls from Verizon in my entire 6yrs with them! I'm gonna wait till it comes out for Verizon in Jan or get one of there DROID phones. Sampled my friends X heavily, it does just as much as the iphone and in some cases more!

Let me give you some news about your beloved iPhone 4. When you hold it, you touch the un-insulated antenna, the high frequency signal is absorbed by your skin (that can cause cancer) instead of being broadcast in the air. I saw on Yahoo an article about a study showing that using headphones (with any Smartphone) is more dangerous than holding the phone next to your head, since the cables of the headphones concentrate the signal to your head. In the iPhone 4 case, the user has direct contact to the antenna when the iPhone emits a signal. And since the received signal drops because you short-circuit the antenna, the iPhone increases the emitting signal power, so it pumps into your skin radio signal close to the frequencies used in a microwave. That's why you deplete the battery so fast, in case you were wondering.
