    Cons: Misleading

    Just had a very unsatisfying customer service interaction with TiVo. Be sure to check out the small print when buying TiVo boxes from sources other than direct from TiVo. We checked with a customer service agent before buying Premier boxes at Costco,... and was led to believe we could keep our current rate plan ($12.95 / $9.95).... When in fact, we're only eligible for the more expensive $19.95 per box rate now. I fear this was just a marketing attempt by the agent to push us out of the more affordable plan. Guess we should have known better and read up on this ourselves rather than relying on their customer service support. Don't let it happen to you. Read more Less
