    Would not purchase another HP

    Pros: sleek

    Cons: only 1 year old and losing screen quality

    My spouse and I both have the exact same laptop computer - the HP dv5. We have had it exactly one year, and the screen is already losing its quality. The screen has to be set at a certain angle, otherwise the picture quality is much like watching a T...V screen on the fritz. Both of our computers do the exact same thing. My previous HP died with the exact same problem. It has to do with some way that HP builds their connections between the screen and the hard drive. We have owned 3 HP laptops in 4 years, and I will not buy another HP. Read more Less
