Williams-Brice Stadium, originally built in 1934 with seating for 17,600, today seats 80,250 and is currently the 18th largest college football stadium in the NCAA. The largest crowd in the stadium topped 85,000 fans. Competing in the SEC, the Gamecocks are known for their electrifying entrance to the '2001' theme song, as well as the traditional rooster crow, which plays over the loudspeakers when the Gamecocks score.
