Great blender -- and cool looking to boot
Pros: great at blending ice
Cons: a pain to put clean and put away
this is a great blender. This blender has really not changed much since I was a kid. It blends ice very fast and is a very reliable. Make sure to wash the top by hand -- cause it may warp in the dishwasher.

Cons: blade screw wont stay tight, hard to reach inside blender
I have had three of these blenders so it is not bad overall as a blender. I use my blender daily and sometime twice daily. The first blender, the glass broke (my fault), the second blender the motor burned out after one and a half years, this third time I have had it for a year and the blade keeps going loose and then stops blending. Finally it has stopped being able to tighten so I will have to buy a new one again. I have spent $250 in 3 years. Now I cant decide if I should spend extra money for a higher warranty or less money and just keep replacing them?

Pros: Reliability and customer service

I made a DUMB mistake and pinched the rubber gasket in half about 3 months after I bought this blender. I called customer service and they mailed me another one FREE no questions asked, and quickly. This is why you should purchase products MADE IN AMERICA! I have had ZERO problems with this blender, and I use it every morning to make smoothies. Best blender I have ever owned. Only thing is the glass pitcher is rather heavy, but who cares.

This blender does not have a plastic bottom that screws off the glass part of the blender so you never have to worry about a monster spill from the bottom and don't have to fuss with tightening anything. This is the strongest motor I've seen on a blender. Smoothies are blended effortlessly. I am rough on a blender and have never been happier with blending performance. I will only purchase a Waring going forward - in fact, I'm about to purchase one for a friend!
