When the challenge is to increase storage capacity while controlling costs, one Serial ATA (SATA) RAID controller gives IT professionals what they need to accomplish both goals - the 3ware 8006-2LP RAID controllers from 3ware. With the ability to support up to 4 controllers per system. AMCC Storage combines an advanced non-blocking switched fabric architecture StorSwitch, with SATA drives to deliver a highly scalable hardware RAID storage solution. Each controller boasts a PCI 66MHz custom ASIC that combines an integrated RISC processor, PCI bridge (64-bit, 66MHz) and XOR RAID engine.
