I really like this camera
Pros: 18mp! easy to use but function rich
Cons: Battery charges externally
Other than having to remove the box battery for a charge, this camera is about all I could want, Lots of automatic settings, but totally flexible for manual settings. Lens is outstanding with image stabilizer, and autofocus very good. The sensitivity in low light is great...I can take a backyard photo by moonlight and it is clear. I am a mid skill amateur, but I do like this one. I will definately buy a 55-100mm type lens for more distant shots, but at 18 mp, clipping a 55mm shot isn't terrible for some shots. LED monitor is large and good, AF mechanism in the viewfinder is outstanding. I only have an old 1GB card, but that holds a hiundred or so photos too.

Pros: Here's my experience: + Color / loyalty. + Very high resolution. + Very good image quality + Exposure. + Fast autofocus. + Solid case. + Ergonomic controls. + Menu Body + solid. + Light weight. + Brilliant display. + Many settings. + Image noise performance at high ISO values. + Max ISO limit. + Feature film with good quality. + Large lens of available parking. + Good momentum. + Battery life.
Cons: - Very large RAW files (about 16GB = 550Bilder). - Very very large movie files. - Lack of intermediate level for image size for example 12MP instead of 8MP. - The purchase price. - Zig. Scene modes on a DSLR unnecessary. - Live View focusing unusable even while recording.
After looking at the EF-S 15-85mm to buy, I was happy with the leap from the Rebel T2i, XTi and witnessed the advancement of technology. In my view would be 15MP resolution for several reasons have been more than adequate.
Who wants to satisfy his expectations must spare no time and effort, so from the Rebel T2i out to Tickle. The "rise" to the 7D I do not need, since I prefer to invest in resistant lenses and instead rather short-lived progress of the art on / in the body join.
The body and the mechanics of my Rebel XTi has experienced no noticeable Loss of quality more than 6,500 trips per year. Professional photographers have of course other request to the body. My buy recommendation, the Rebel T2i.

I purchased this camera with the 2 lens, 18-55 and 55-250, to take on safari in South Africa. The photos are absolutely fabulous, especially when put on a large TV screen. I couldn't be happier with the quality. If you can imagine a photo of a lion with his mouth open and see a broken tooth. The sunset shot are glorious as well as the night shot of the animals. I wished I could share them. I found the charger was fine for all day shoots, going out twice a day, and only recharging at night. You won't regret the purchase of this camera.
